noob questions

ive never been in a MP league so im just wondering a couple things that may be different then a single player league. can draft picks be signed during late free agency? if not, is there a sim in between the end of late free agency and training camp (so that i can make a last minute attempt to get all rookies into camp)?

when u submit your camp file you get a chance to make the signing at that point. That is your last chance to make the signing.

i should add that you get an opportunity in late FA as well. Help on this one guys. My memory says one try during late FA no matter which stage you take the shot.

I'm avoiding this question as I'm not sure if it's different in MP or not? I wasn't even aware that I'd get so many tries in the first part of free agency.

since we're on the topic, do unsigned players eventually give in to your demands if you dont budge? in single player i just gave them what they wanted, but since this stuff is actually competitive i gotta go for that extra year.

Another tough one to answer. It's always worth a shot to try and get that extra year. I'm not sure if it's any different from singleplayer and if it isn't... well they just might not budge.

Yea, I got pissed at my greedy rookies once and was determined to make them sign the deal I wanted them to. Well.....after 7 or so offers, finally, in week 2 of the regular season, I gave in and just gave them what they wanted. This had nothing to do with their agents either, has 2 of the agents were like, 22, low stubborn neg. So now, I no longer waste my time, I just give them the damn best deal for them and get it over with.

the reason you are getting multiple chances is that typically the draft isnt open until FA is over. The way the draft was run this year placed the rookies on the teams before they normally would be in the cycle. If draft is after FA over then you get the limited shots to sign the rookies once in late FA, once before camp and then each week of preseason and regular season if it goes that poorly.

That seems right.
