That's what happens when you play the Renegades. We always find someway to lose, even if we have to allow a bunch of 4th down conversions for it to happen. It it will most likely be by 3 points.

How many games have you lost by 3?

Week 2 is going to be as interesting a game as I've had in a while. A lot of new faces on the Phantoms and QB Roderick Amos is set to play most of the game. I've very anxious to see if he can lead the Phantoms into the post-Stanfield era.

And Sui's current incarnation looks ripe for the picking to a young QB looking to get a grasp of the IFL.

I wouldn't even waste a year with Given. I would start the rookie from the start. Given might be gone after this year, never know.

I like my back up QB Morton. Defense was pretty good. Cant wait fir season to start.

I had given up on Roderick Amos, as evident by the $12M I spend on a 2 year bid for Travis Strong, and he's been absolutely amazing this off-season.

                    Loving the pre-season so far.

Time for an IFL Bowl rematch against Murf!

The stats won't reflect who's necessarily the best - just like the regular season - but there's plenty of info to be gathered from pre-season stats, especially if your gearing your pre-season towards gleaning that information.

Wichita have a damn good team..

Highlights of the pre-season so far:

Rickey Moss... led the team in tackles in the first game and followed up with 7 tackles today.. He gained 2 ratingpoints today too. I think I have my starting ILB for seasons to come here, something I've been needing for several years.

Ummm ... No. We don't have a damn good team. We're playing starters because of our overall youth and player turnover. We'll score 25+ most weeks and do an above average job against the run. Whether the rebuilt secondary can come together and how fast is the only real question. Penalties are gonna be a concern as well. I still think we need a draft or two and some seasoning.
