I'd like to trade someone a 7th or so to sign and trade my former WLB who won't sign with my team even though he was my starter for the last 7-9 games of the season.

He's restricted until after the draft.

Well I mean, i'm not opposed to you doing it as long as you gave fair value. But honestly if it's just a "hey, sign him and give him back to me for nothing" I do have a problem with it.

Interesting how this one can be looked at from both sides. I didn't think of how you described it since I was thinking in terms of a team with a lot of unused cap space thinking "yeah, I'll take a 7th round pick for free".

He's just a stop-gap for me and went undrafted and hopped to 3 different teams before the season started so I forgot that he might actually be worth something. haha

Well it's out there for anyone to sign and ask what they want. I wouldn't spend much though and don't overestimate how much I want him.

I dont really care what happens here but just a question. Aren't you trying to get around the way the game plays? The player obviously is pissed off with you doesnt ever want to play on your team so your going to shuffle him to a new team with the IDEA of just tradeing a 7th rounder to get him back basically trying to completely erase the fact he is angry and wont sign with you the way the game plays.

P.S. I'll trade him to you for a 3rd rounder. LOL

seems like some sort of weird collusion to want someone else help you glitch the game for a draft pick is all im saying. Keep in mind I don't care what happens just throwing my 2 cents into the mix.

Just like when I said yesterday that if it came up where team A in 3 years tried to trade a 1st rounder to team B for a 7th rounder to complete a "handshake/backroom" deal, I would not allow it. That's fine. I was looking at is as a "make good" since IMO the fact he's angry is a glitch taking into account the fact he's an undrafted rookie on his 3rd team and by sheer roster luck "started" a lot of games for the eventual league champs.
