  • Injuries(new patch?)

Not a complaint, but an observation. The smaller, minor injuries seem to last considerably longer this year. For instance, a small, bit player on my team, Herman Miller was out 6or 7 weeks with tobacco withdraw syndrome. I thought that was longer then expected, however the weeks just keep going by and my starting LT Duane Barton continues to miss games with a strained hamstring. Now I understand a hamstring could be considered a serious injury but he hasn't played since week 4, and since the injury is "questionable", there is still no idea when he will return. I have been pretty lucky this year with injuries, but geeze, 8 weeks with a strained hamstring?

Is anyone else noticing lingering injuries that seem a bit TO long?

I've held off posting something for a while due to fear of jinxing my team. I still won't post it but I'll say that it's not that we have too many or too long injuries. But then again I spend a good deal of training camp on the avoiding injury setting each off-season.

I believe a pulled hamstring (which my starting OG just got this past week as well) is easily reaggravated which makes it truly questionable as for recovery time since the wrong move can start you all over again.
