QB Tom Dewitt's days in SLC are numbered ... we're going with Porcher next week!!!

Interesting game. Statistically, Georgia dominated. But not on the scoreboard where we took advantage of a turnover and field position.

      GG Ice

Rookie WR Chris Andrews continues to shine. 8 catches for 116 yards and 3 TDs. He was the offense in the 1st half.

Rookie CB Edgar Fyie intercepts a pass to end any hope for a comeback by Georgia.

My other DBs (Vance, McKenzie, Porter) recorded 3 sacks.

Boston King ... a classic smashmouth football game with the QBs being a non factor on either side of the field.

I was delighted that my D stepped up and played one of their best games in a long while. I have been tweaking the D scheme for a few weeks now and I am liking the results.

Well, its a horse race in the division with WV winning and we all sit there at 5-3. There is a also a lot of the season that is in front of us and anything can happen in this division, including an emergence of a Hartford presence.

Ugliest game ever. We had nearly as many penalty yards as we did offensive yards.

4 big plays that made the difference...54 and 32 yard runs by Fleming, a punt return and INT return for TD.

Wow, Penn made a statement vs. Lawrence. Dang.

I'm shocked and my team's collective asshole hurts. Nothing worked today.

Great game for the former Power.

In "next year" news Reno picked the perfect time for their first win of the season in the eyes of Phantom Phans as they knock Little Rock back to 2-5 and in doing so put the Phantoms on pace for the #1 overall pick (Reno) and a pick between #5-10 (LR) in next season's draft.

Ugh...another ugly game on defense but luckily Steiner keeps bailing us out and our offense rolls as we manage to hold on.

Strange season of results when some of the top NC teams meet: Madison beat Penn and Newark handily. Penn beat Lawrence handily. Lawrence beat Madison handily.

Matchups? Gameplans? Luck of the random rolls?

Texas v. Tulsa is the only one that I remember living up to it's billing.

Not sure I have an answer, but I would lean to Matchup being #1, Gameplan #2 and Random Rolls having the final impact on a game's eventual result. When matchups are fairly even, then the latter two would seem to take a larger role.

It seems my coach doessn't want to run the ball, even if ordered to do so half the time. Interesting, hasn't been a problem with this gameplan until lately.

GG Reno, my team just isn't a contender any more it seems.
