Phantoms get a taste of the league's apparent best CB duo. A closer look shows a DLine set to rush the passer as well. Hopefully Stanfield can find an open receiver elsewhere in the secondary.

I've been chewing for days on this. Haven't even started my game plan. Does he run the ball 45 times and avoid my cb's, or does it just roll with it and try to beat me talent for talent. Ummmm....

Stanfield is an aging faggot, he don't want nothing to do with Oakland's secondary.

I'll be honest and say I didn't avoid them. If it were later in the season I'd care solely about the victory but in week 3 I'd like to see how I stack up against the talent this season. If I can't match up then I'd rather know now than in the post-season if we play then.

And what's worse is that I don't have a Latham to tank... I mean play out... the rest of the season when the playoff picture starts looking murky.

wow, yet another turnover riddled game for us. Sucks. Looks like this season is looking exactly like last year. Good game Portland.

Ken Albriktsen comes through in a big way. 10 grabs for 185 yards and 5 TDs.
He led the way with 2 51 yard TD catches.

Turnovers turnovers turnovers. We had this game and GAVE it away. Oh yea, you didn't fool me on your "I'm going to pass it" prediction. Didn't matter, I would have played the pass anyway and made you beat me running. If not for the turnovers, I would have to. GG though Lawrence. Oakland is just not ready for prime time yet.

We get the win but at a huge cost. Mueller gone for 20+ weeks with a ruptured achilles. I knew this season was too good to be true. He was finally in the perfect system to excel, with the right people and now he is gone. Crap.

On another note lets show more justification for paying Toby Torres a grip of cash. Toby had 2 tackles, 1 assist, 1 sack ,1 block, 2 hurries, 3 QB knockdowns and a 34 yard fumble recovery for a TD. Another disruptive game for our star DT.

Exciting game vs. Murfreesboro. Winning margin was by hitting them deep ... not passes from Finger but via two 55 yard field goals by Chuck Morris. He had a total of four in the game including the last one to win the game, a 45 yarder with 10 seconds on the clock. He was named MVP of the game.

Statistically outplayed in all phases except special teams ... this may have to be the look of the Vipers this year. Nice to get a win after two losses vs. Boston and Texas.

I find it mind boggling that I can upgrade a key position on D, and I've essentially given up more points in 2 games than I gave up all of last year.

I upgrade a key spot on my OL, and Ive seen more 1 and 0 yard gains than an RB of Osbournes calibre has ever seen.

                        So disillusioned right now...

I wasn't lying pregame. The dice rolls and down and distance caused me to (thankfully since Greene went down) run a lot more than my gameplan dictates. As I said the start of the season is for information gathering in some ways.

With Greene in the game I think we did OK against the BIG TWO. When he went down I was screwed.

Then I got a little hope when I remembered the rookie TE Alcott... who later got injured as well.

I was lucky to get the TO's this game. This was pretty much like my week 1 game against Newark. This time the TO's went my way.

One thing is cemented in place: I want some IFL time with elite CBs. Luckily, I've got LR and Reno's 1st's and they both sit at 0-3 currently.

I've started calling around the local poultry stores for the current prices of crow. Should Mr. Torres continue I'll put some on order.

LOL my team is funny to watch...we are awful. Defense is getting schooled. That is alright I know which is vulnerable now. The first 3 gameplans against me have all been the same , quite amusing it is really. That 1st round pick could be valuable this year though if we don't get our act together...

Nah I am just hoping it continues. Losing Mueller is going to be killer, so no more injuries.
