what if i don't want to upgrade? what's the worst that's gonna happen. i don't want to go through the trouble of reentering all the graphics mods and shit. and i want to keep Greta. if this is just an upgrade for veteran min-sal i'll pass. i don't play FOF solo anymore and since the league is simmed on the commish's PCs i don't see the need for me to upgrade.

I suggest you upgrade. The salaries for vet minimums have changed, and if you don't upgrade you will find yourself offering less money than players are willing to accept.

Contract requests have changed in the new patch. If you're in multiple leagues and they patch at different times, it would behoove you to pay attention, and perhaps switch game versions, when you make offers to guys. For example, my old RB in WOOF is requesting less in 6.2 than he did in 6.1a by about $660K. What does this mean to you as a GM?
1. Everything gets processed based on the *COMMISH* machine's version. So if you're on 6.2, but the commish is on 6.1a, you will still see "bombs away" in the two-minute offense, and you will still have your defensive columns switched, for example.
2. If you're offering contracts, you're going to want to be on the same version as the commish. For example, if I am on 6.2, make the requested offer to my RB that I see in my game, and submit it to a commish who is on 6.1a, the offer will be rejected for being too low. And if I'm in the opposite situation, I might offer him more than I need to.

i only play FOF to be in this league. if i wasn't in this league anymore i'd have deleted FOF from my system. it's not my kind of game anymore, i'm not a big supporter of Jim like i was in the past.
