I think it is time to step down. The offseason is going to move to quickly for me to keep up properly and Im not doing the team any favors trying to keep up. Please replace me before anymore damage is done. It has been a good ride.

I would add that sadly this will put the Outlaws franchise in the hands of its 2nd owner. The rivalry with IWC was great. Another charter member of the Imperial league bites the dust.

It sounds like DBerner had no intention of missing the franchise tag stage. We might want to think about tagging (signing to one year franchise salary) Johnnie Basille, DE for the next GM. It wouldn't at all be giving DBerner an unfair 'free pass' since he's leaving and seems the definite move for any GM in charge of the Outlaws.

I'd be cool with that. I don't mind at all a situation where a long time owner missed something that we ALL know he wanted to do. Like if I was working and just missed tagging Doyle where everyone knows I intended to. I realize some may say "you snooze you lose", well not in this case. I think this league can make exceptions.
