we finally pull out a good offensive game. Hopefully we peak just for the playoffs. Huge win against a tough IWC team.
Now comes a huge week 17 game against Vermont. I'm hoping we can somehow come out ahead and pull this one out. I'm so pumped about this win tonight. Give me a lolipop.

Holy crap. Los Angeles gave me a hard ass game and my team tried to choke it away. Dixon is tearing things up on a limited number of carries, only to have two late fumbles which helped lead LA back to tie it up and take a lead and killed decent drives by my team. We go to OT where I proceed to miss a FG somewhat early, then throw an INT deep in LA territory late in OT. We get the ball back and move it down into FG range, time running out, I am yelling for the FG when it kicked it too early to tie up the game to send it into OT. Instead my coach keeps calling plays and Dixon gets the 6 yard run with under a minute left in OT. Phew.

One hell of a game hawkster.

With almost an full extra 'quarter' of play in this game Ralph Given sets team records with 61 pass attempts, 40 completions, and 448 passing yards. He ties for the 2nd most pass attempts in a game in IFL history, 2nd most completions in IFL history (both just one behind the records), and had the 7th most passing yards in a game in IFL history.

                Who?

All I noticed was Brian Dixon having his 10th straight 1100+ yard season.

I just counted it up, I wasn't keeping track of it. I just had to find something to deflect attention from that Tulsa guy.

I pretty much sucked this week. 2 blocked punts, one for a TD. Then a fumble by Sanford returned 31 yards for a TD. It was all down hill from there.

Rushing King Ken Singleton will loan the ball, which he carried across the 2,106 yard threshold, to the IFL Hall of Fame. Singleton is quoted "I still have one game left. This record will only be attainable by me."

Too bad my team is relying on Sanford to win. He plays well we win he plays bad we lose.

                          7-8. Play at LR.
