This is such a huge game for us. I have a silly feeling that Orlando is winning today against Texas, which means that I MUST win against Vermont. Hopefully we can find a way to contain the most dynamic player in Imperial league history.

Huge win for us against Vermont. We went with the running game this week, and it worked. Crespo ran for over 100yds for the first time since 2009, before the big injury. Crespo also got the start at RB this week as I tried to switch things up a little. I must say, Crespo has been fantastic on 3rd downs as he's converted 75% of his opportunities.
Virgil was on point again today. He is just simply amazing. Visions of Max Brown catching balls is still etched in my brain. God only knows how good Virgil could be / could've been had he had some top notch WR's to throw to especially considering how good he has been with the guys he has now and the past few years.

oh, and I was wrong about Orlando. Texas looked to control that game from the first snap.

I haven't seem a playoff game since 2009 and while I knew this was a total rebuild it doesn't make it any less frustrating to watch this years chances slip away with this weeks loss to Lansing. Grats to you and that cocksucker Hamilton

Despite having what I believe is the best 1/2 punch at defensive back in the league, he pretty much did whatever he wanted having a nearly perfect game. I'm going to go now and start working on the draft and taking it out on one of the few teams worse then me this year....SLC.

Mueller ran for his life all game. 15 hurries and he was 2-18 on long balls. Truelly brutal. Caffery may lose the starting job after going 4-14 on catches. You kicked the crap out of us Texas. I thought we had a shot.

This road game stretch is going to kill us.

What a week. The biggest happening was Little Rock losing. Now we take our at bat against Little Rock. We are 100% healthy coming off the bye week. So no excuses.

Josh Sullivan sets a new single game KR record -- 7 attempts, 275 yards and 2 TDs.

                DAMN.

King, this game was crazy from the get go. Both defenses looked like buckets with multiple holes in the bottom. Watching both teams throw the ball up and down the field was surreal. It looked like there wasn't any Pass D on the field at all. The only two bright spots in my D was Palmieri's pick and the blocked FG. My running game was shut down so Finger did his thing to keep up with Magic Fogarty.

Special plays added spice to an already hot game. Your two kick off returns for TD,s, Harden's 81 yard fumble return, and then the blocked FG in the 4th quarter was huge.

A tough game to lose ... and I am glad to be leaving Boston with a lucky W.

Wow, congrats David. Georgia just destroyed my running game. It is usually 'effective' enough to help us, but 34 yards on 21 carries made us a one dimensional team to say the least. Throw in a bad day for turnovers with 3 fumbles and a tipped ball INT and there just wasn't much we could do to prevent the loss. With the running game shut down so badly the pass game was less and less effective as the game went on. We had those TD passes early, but that was it. Our third TD came from Wiggins returning a kickoff. Turner and Pozy were a pain today as well, despite their stat lines. Well done man.

GG Pirates. WR Ellision really came though in the absents of Gomez and Battles 85 yard TD run were the difference makers in this one.
I predict my 1st loss of the season will be against Georgia. They have had Texas's number sence I've had the team. Point spreads and records can be thrown out in division games, as LR can atest.

David just likes being a pain in my side as well.

I will go ahead and give you the division crown for this year though, I am sitting at 1-2 in division with two Tulsa games and one more against you. I am hoping for 3-3 in the division right now at the best, no way I go 3-0 against you guys. I was 11-1 in the division the last two years, 3 losses at best won't get me a division title again.

Palmierri has been the sparkplug on a rather dismal Viper Defensive Unit.

I have been using him a tad bit different than I think you did, in that I am blitzing him from the corner more than I would a CB. Results = 3 sacks thus far and it looks like this has also increased his chance for tackles. He has a chance to get a career high for tackles (of course this is on a team that couldn't find a football in a sporting good store, let alone tackle somebody with one).

It doesn't seem that this has taken too much from his coverage as he has collected 3 picks and has defended 7 passes through 9 games. He also has a fumble returned for a TD.

Not bad for a washed up ol' fart :injured: from Lawrence.
