  • What is your teams best unit?

I would have to say that the offensive line is my best unit. They are young and have a high cohesion already. Of course the cohesion is due to my OLine leader Esqueda. Plus, we have good depth, esp. at tackle.

Here is how my OLine shapes up:

LT- Tony Esqueda 69/69 12 yr vet
LG- Aaron Taxin 65/65 3 yr
    C- Ernest Poston 50/50 7 yr
RG- Rob Mitchell 56/56 3 yr
RT- Brock Heath 73/73 2 yr

    T- Gilbert Helman 54/54 14 yr
    T- Carlton Wilkins 51/51 3 yr
    G- Deon Davis 39/39 8 yr
    G- Jake Kaplan 30/30 7yr
    C- Ben Stephenson 30/47 2 yr

    NC Champions-- 2015, 2016
NC South Division Champions-- XI 2013-2023
    IFL EoY-- 2013, 2016

Honestly, I believe that my team has just above average units accross the board save the RB's. My offensive line is solid, as is my defensive line. My LB's are solid and my secondary is pretty good.
The Bulldogs are just plain average.

I figured someone would do the cock reference before I was able to.

As for the question, I have a hard time picking which one is best. Flip a coin between each defensive unit, line, linebackers, db's. They all have years playing togethers, and they all have play makers, the starters anyways.

For the Phantoms I'd say D-Line.

Most likely it'll perpetually be D-Line as I have chronic IwantthatDlinemantitas. Fans of the "Tampa 2" often fall victim to this disease.

my receiving corps is great. top WR in Nathan Mullin, and a really good WR to line up on the other end of the field in Ferreira. my #3 WR Carlton Weaver would be a starting WR on another team. my TE Juan McElroy has boomed since i aquired him. he's gonna retire a Hero.

all in all i really would love for someone to double team Mullin. this is the most complete and thorough receiving corps i've ever had in FOF.

After trading away Hertz I was going to update this thread with "OLine'. Then this week passed and Cringer (the dirty rat bastard) busted up Skip Browning's ankle.

Now I'd have to say QB, where I'm unpleasantly overstocked.

Anyone new to this playoff hunt thing need a solid starter to make sure you don't go belly up come QB injury?

I'd have to go with my receivers. By year's end I hope my D-lineman live up to their potential

                        Our best unit?

Hmmm, I think our best quality is the ability to get a high draft pick every year.

You don't need to remind me. It is killing me being this bad for so many seasons. When Dew retired it was like the death knell. Then we lost Harrison and it all tumbled out of control.

                            Baby steps.
