WOW, Doyle turned out better then I thought he would. Boyd and Carlson turned out about how I thought they would, but like every single punter and kicker I have ever drafted, Manthey dropped like 10 points.
Doyle just blew up, I am psyched!!

If you had to do it over again would you take Mendenhall instead of Boyd? Having 2 stud corners in one draft... nice.


Perkins came out what he went into camp with. I still expect him to move up a couple points. He looks like a solid qb.

Well Donaldson survived camp without much of a ratings change, so i'm relieved.

Timmerman went down a little, which saddens me but shows me his end is in fact near. Ah well.

No. The more I think about it the more confident I am that was the right choice. Having 2 shutdown corners is more important to me then the stud D lineman. I will shit a brick when it's time to resign them but today I am happy!!

Chad Harding just busted on me after three seasons. Wow, I'm bummed.

I have been robbed by one of my favorite players.

DE Karl Cronin was holding out and I went against my history of not giving in so easily to veteran holdouts so I could have him in camp. He got a big fat raise, and then dropped in ratings. He is still going to be effective, but not what he once was. I think he was in the 50's, and is now 44/44.

As for everything else, the Toads are happy I guess. TE Graham came out of his first camp looking good, and will play a big role as a rookie. I have hopefully added depth and a possible starter at the guard spots with my two rookies there. RB Johnstone looks like a slightly better version then undrafted Penberthy is from last year, kind of what I was figuring. I am going to have a hard time figuring out which CBs to keep on the roster though.

Harding rose 13 ratings points since he was drafted. I'm a little stunned that he then dropped 24 future ratings points on me after maxing out at 80/80. I'm hoping this is a scout error thing.

Already trying to figure out who I will cut going into the regular season. I am going to have a hard time. I want to keep all of my RBs and CBs but some will have to go. At CB I am looking at having to get rid of 2 young guys I want to give time to develop to, or 1 young guy and the guy I signed to be my key backup veteran. There is no way I am cutting kick return specialist Lawrence Wiggins.

i think its one of those random things that pop up from time to time. just sucks its happened to me. i was ready to make a serious division run this year, too. everything's been pushed back at least a year, for us, now.

i think I'm stuck with who I got at the moment. Who knows, maybe Harding will still play well. It's not like he tore it up each and every game he played. He had his ups and downs. He should have a great team around him, so he won't have to do it alone. If my defense can play an entire season like it did in the first half of last year, we might be OK.

But, the fact that RB Kersey lost 10 off his current/future is overshadowed by the Harding hit. I figured that Kersey might begin to go down soon, but I thought that Harding was ready to hit his stride. Oh well, will have to replan, i guess.
