Great game for us in my first week. Mann gave us a 4TD performance to thank us for his new deal and no new significant injury.

The eight point spread gave me the incentive to spend a little midnight oil on the gameplan.

I expected a close outcome ... I am surprised at the final. The best part, other that the W, is that I found out some new things about my team in the process. I expect that we have an awfully good chance to suit up again this year.

Lawrence gets a surprise ... it looks like the league has found a degree of parity in the early going on.

Frankly, I cannot quite understand what the Cardinal magic is all about ... but all eyes are now pointed to them as they stand alone undefeated. The King will find that when on top of the world, he often has no clothes.

I tweaked my defensive gameplan the most I have yet this season for this game. I'm finding that scout recommend for defense is almost useless again. The basic percentages are once again barely moving at all week-to-week. I'm assuming that this was changed in a patch due to some complaining that the AI was too smart. Maybe I'm wrong, but I could've swore that the percentages moved a lot more when facing new opponents.

Anyways, I still haven't won a big game with Portland yet.

Edit: Another though re: scout recommend on defense is that there isn't enough data yet for the AI to make very drastic recommendations this early in the season.

Yea, like thats tough. Theres a good chance the Donovan era will start next week anyway. If I am going to lose, might as well get him some experience.

Fucking Hanks, where was he when I made him a high draft choice? Not that I mind Jacobs at all. Except when he throws 3 picks and I get tripled up by Kozure.

Nolan Coghill and Nate Sims seem to be pleasnt surprises in my secondary for rookies. All of my staters are either ancient, or wearing diapers. This can't be a good formula.

Yea, he is blowing it up, seriously. I don't think he has thrown a pic all year. He is smart and accurate. To bad the rest of the team blows ass. My defense is beyond bad. Paints a clear picture for next years draft though.

Mules stole a FG at the half. Mules scored the first 6 possessions, putting a lot of pressure on Fekner and Montreal

Fekner went over 300, but the Firebirds recievers were absolute YAC machines as they had like 150 YAC on the day. Did the Mules forget how to tackle? Gonna have to watch SportsCenter to see what that was all about.

Lost Whitaker for the remainder of the season, kinda sucks - but Bridges should be back after the bye

Fortune carried the Day for the Mules in Murfreesboros home opener. 61000 showed up. nice.

GG Chris as Montreal matched the Mules score for score till late in the second. Was a competitive game till that second pick.

Oh and that nullified TD was Sooooo Obvious. Can't believe you are complaining about the fine upstanding IFL officials like that. lol
