So a certain party henceforth known as S and I talked some trade. Here is how it went.
I start with "What type of players? I have lots to trade. Take a look."
S says "You only have a CB to trade really, everything else would hurt you." *sad face*
I come back with "What would Boyce Groth get me?"
S replies "Next years 1st rounder."
I reply "Its a deal post it."
S replies, and Im not making this up "I bet you would
but I was simply testing you this time. Groth is far to old to warrant a first rounder buddy.................." At the end he says "Id like to acquire him, but a 1st rounder wont make me pull the trigger-- - you got a counter"
I am not making this up. It really happened.
How am I supposed to counter his 1st round pick?
