Can someone explain to me how that works? Yes, I understand the concept, but with hundreds of players and a limited number of interviews, how do you decide who to interview?

If im picking late in the first round i usually just interview from Top 10 on down as i have no shot at them guys anyway. Then i save a few interviews for guys that interest me. I even interview guys who i think will go in the 3rd and 4th rounds if they stand out to me.

I divide 60 by my number of need positions and roughly shoot for that amount per position, erring on the side of caution always leaving me some interviews for guys that I missed. I also do the interviews in stages (like 35 the first stage, 15 the next, etc...) and interview the top guys no matter where I pick as I never know what trades I'm going to make nor what kind of silly things are going to happen on draft day. I'd feel very unfortunate if I was picking "late" and one of the drafts studs fell to me but I didn't have a read on him.

Almost happened to me last year as I didn't have Crawford interviewed.. I was positive some of the guys who interviewed him had him tagged as Overrated, but I just HAD to have him when he was still there late in the first round.. Thanks for that one Jester

I do it about the same way as Jester though. I have my needs and interview a few of each, usually around where I figure I'll draft in the top 2 rounds. I then go through some guys with low ranking but good combines, no matter what position just to find those Very Underrated guys.

These are great ideas, thanks. Also, when are we no longer allowed to interview? And we get 60 interviews right?

                I did have Crawford interviewed.

                Hence the trade.

Had you not won the whole frickin' thing last season and thrown a monkey wrench into the plans I'd be very happy with a mid round 3rd right now.

Got my first results back from the interviews. I really like the concept now that I see the point. I just wish this was an instant feature where you could narrow the band of players down. The NFL guys have a pretty good idea what guys are going to be there for them in each round because they spend all year long doing mock drafts and scouting the college players. While we could do the same, it would be horribly inaccurate and very time consuming.

I still like the interview idea.
