Bug with veteran minimums?

I got a 4th year player asking for $620k per season. When I drop that down to $610k per season it shows as only counting as $500k towards the cap.

The text on the contract screen states that the veteran minimum is the amount of a 4th year player under the cap. Is the $500k the 4th year minimum of season's ago and hasn't been updated in the FOF code or is there something else? I don't understand why my 4th year guy is getting a $110k discount down to what a 4th year guy makes... and I can't offer him less than that $610k so I'm assuming that's the real minimum for a 4th year player.

Yeah, that doesn't seem right. I just e-mailed support about this. Good catch, though I'm left wondering how this could've gotten by so many people. Don't think either of us are misinterpreting anything though.

FWIW - He's a restricted FA and the only option possible to get the "veteran minimum" is this current season. All future seasons when offered the minimum possible result in said minimum possible counting against the cap.

The player is RB Randal Fuller btw.

Game is apparently working as intended. Wording on the contract screen is wrong though (should read players entering their 3rd year instead of 4th).
