Thank you all for the warm welcome!

As this opportunity presented itself, I began to do a little research on the rich and storied history of the Firebirds:

There is a certain charm in a team that has 1 winning season it it's history.

There is a certain adorable quality to a franchise that has an equal number of fans and an equal number of food vendors at it's games (and this is by no means implying an unusual amount of food vendors).

There is a certain morbid fascination fans have watching Coaches and Players vying hard to get that top pick in the following years draft.

This all adds up to one thing: a completely pressure - free change in ownership;

If I can get these guys to PRACTICE on time, I'll get a contract extension by the end of the year.

There are four things I can promise the good Toque wearing people of Montreal:

1- Tickets prices are going down, so get your asses to the game.
...and buy a hot dog.

2- Follow rule #1, or we won't be here forever. That's my merciful side.

3- No job or player is safe. I will be wide open to trade ideas and suggestions, so send em my way. Apparently, the crew we have here is NOT working out.
