    DIVISION ROUND - NATIONAL CONFERENCE

The LITTLE ROCK Toads (13-3) and LAWRENCE Phantoms (15-1) had the week off. Despite the drive-by media's attempt to focus on a possible rematch between these two teams, each head coach refocused reporters and their teams on the Sunday games at hand.

 The LANSING Orgres (10-7) ousted their division rival, Madison in a typical NC North blood bath. Scott Nelson and company find themselves with no time to gloat as LAWRENCE's Tobias Stanfield and company have had two weeks to prepare and they do not plan on taking any prisoners.

 The VERMONT Mountainers (10-7) had the most exciting journey in the wild card games. The Mountainers came from behind and beat Vancouver in overtime. Virgil and company also do not have any time to think about what they just accomplished because LITTLE ROCK's Given, Dixon and company have had two week to dream about possible match-ups to exploit.

Help TB in the preview, give your thoughts on the games and match-ups.

Had to go with the favorites on this side of the fence. I think the Toads and Phantoms stood apart from the rest of the NC the entire year and I would not expect this to change. Sorry, joining the drive-by media take on the things.

Tough to go against Lawrence and Stansberry. Not so tough to go against Little Rock as Vermont is always a dark horse with Sepulveda. I think Vermont edges out the Toads.

Home teams. Again 15-1 is hard to go against and the Warts represent my division.

I went with Lawrence, Lansings run ends here.

Then I took Little Rock, I have to have a little confidence. Vermont winning won't surprise me though.

Well, Hernandez is a huge loss.. but I've got Lake and Dutra back.. I'm more worried about the offense to be honest.. but Fann's got a decent enough ypc, and has been quite respectable.. I'm feeling more confident now than I did after the wild card game.

Looking forward to a good game. Best of luck to you, may the team from Arkansas lose.

Good luck to you as well sir.

And we have unofficially moved the team to Little Rock Pond in Vermont, just to avoid being the team from Arkansas or any other state the Mountaineers are not in.

Big congrats to Coder, best GMing this season I think is from you. Given laid an egg, my biggest fear for this game. Just a crap year for him when it comes down to it.

All NC East Conference Championship game, way to go guys. I will break things down more tomorrow when I got the time. I know I am not happy about 4-2 on the Vermont 35 and punting the ball. And Given couldn't hit our TEs for crap today. Way to take advantage of my run defense as well.

Lansing really did everything right for about 3 quarters and had themselves in position to get scores but failed in the red zone. Once Lawrence got their 2nd TD it was pretty much academic but they had the right gameplan to hang with the Phantoms.

Hell of a game by Vermont. Lawrence is obviously the favorite but If the Mountianeers can execute the type of gameplan Lansind did today I think they can capatilize more efficiently and make a real contest out of it.

Good game, morellomre! You've got a very talented team. Looks like you've got a couple of guys to resign and you should be right back in the thick of things next season, maybe playing in Lansing.

Vermont... Vermont... VERMONT!!!! Tough loss for Cringer after a great season. The one loss on my record and I know you were dying to show it wasn't a fluke.

Looking forward to the NC (East) Championships thanks to Coder, who I now have to look closer at and see what his record's like in games where he wasn't severely handicapped due to injury.

Wow, I voted for Cringer up there, but I knew I was going to play some solid defense. The extra signing of Clement Oakley at DE felt a little redundant at first, but proved to be an essential signing.

Virgil started the game playing some excellent football, but almost felt impotent in the second half. Given threw some poorly timed interceptions to give me the edge in the second half despite poor offensive play though. When Virgil started slowing down, David Sonnier came up huge! Holy crap. 110 yards from the backup running back.

I'm still not sure I'm through.. am I? CONFERENCE FINALS BABY!!!!!!!!!!

Lawrence vs Vermont in the NC Championship game.. I could taste this back in week 5, but when the injury-bug started spreading it seemed as if everything was lost.

I will beat you Jester.. I will defense you to death!!!!!!

Not gonna happen. 3rd time (or 5th going back to last seaso) will not be the charm in this series!
