Amateur Draft to Commence on Sunday the 5th

Lock and load, boys. I guess we'll be starting this ride on Sunday. As far as I'm concerned rules haven't been put in place yet, so that's probably something we can discuss until Cringer gets back. Would like to hear any suggestions you guys have, especially if you have used a draft util before (ahem Suicane). What kind of time limit? Should it change after the first round, second round...? When should the clock be on downtime?

If anyone does manage to log in let me know. I suppose you could start setting up a preference list if you choose to.

And I just wanted to quickly note that no one should feel too rushed for the first round or so. You aren't going to be forced to use a preference list, but you will be on a time limit. If you don't think you will be able to make your pick on time, then you will want to use the preference list. Then once the later rounds are up, it would be nice if guys starting using a list and selecting the option where your pick is made right away (and not after the time limit is up). This would save loads of time when added up. Discuss.

Okay, so I was able to log in for a brief moment after getting the right password. But then I changed my password and now I can't log back in, so there might be a problem with this - be aware.

Also, after reading the FAQ at fofwarroom.com it sounds like we may not even have an option of setting our own draft rules/parameters. Ya'll better check it out.

Just out of curiousity, do the PMs sit in the outbox until someone actually reads them? Then they move to the sentbox?

Sov...I change my password with no problem. Did you put your old password in and the new password twice? I also put in my email address. Did you?

This pisses me off then. My old password doesn't work, so I must have changed it. The only thing that could have happened, though I don't know how, is that I mistyped my new password twice. I don't know what the chances of that happening are.

I just got an e-mail from Dave telling me that the max. password length is eight. I could have sworn that I checked for that possibility though. Either way, glad the problem is solved.
