i just woke up 30 minutes ago, got in late from my fantasy draft. still, i was slow to pop in because i have a bye.

what time Eastern is the game simmed?

after an incident where i crashed at my best friend's apt after his bachelor party and his gay business partner woke me up at 8:40am to ask me repeatedly if i wanted him to suck my cock, i am now a homophobe.

yes, i did tape the draft. didn't get that much footage, which sucks for me, cuz now i gotta make a diamond out of a lump of coal. but it's so hard to have the camera rolling whenever someone says something funny. there was a few brightspots that'll make it on the next fantasy draft movie.

i was videotaping the pizza delivery guy and i aksed him to give us some inspiring words, and he said not to take LJ whatever we do. i meant inspiring like words of hope and of a better future, but we all laughed at his comment anyway cuz our unlucky friend had taken LJ (we do auction draft, so he spent $40 of his $100 cap on him).

Holy fuckin shit.. I really thought I'd lose today and when I gave up a TD on Lansings first drive I thought I was a goner.. and then I saw them go all 82nd on me and I was giving up yardage after yardage to their "not being double covered"-WR Childers I was getting multi-pissed-off.. then things slowly started turning around and I was seeing more and more "the defense looked familiar with that play" and I was like.. HELL YEAH... I'm still celebrating on sundays!

Good game morrell, really.. I was on my toes! Logan goes down and I fear the worst, but it's "only" two weeks. Hernandez continues to piss off the QBs around the league.. 3 hurries and 0.5 sacks today.. Doyle is really loving things, and again, I'd like to think that he's learning a lot from Hernandez even though his ratings aren't skyrocketing.. he picked up 2 sacks today!

i like my trade where i got rid of WR Gomez. he netted me 2 2nd round picks and 2 third round picks (both Texas', which makes them essentially like 2nd round picks anyway). i've been seeing a lot of teams draft guys in the 2nd and 3rd rounds who are clear starter material, so the next 3 seasons i'm gonna be restocking my receiving and linebacking corps, and hopefully use a first rounder to replace my quickly aging RB Larry Deason. it was a good move. we still got a lot of ingredients in our sauce to make it tasty this year, so that's why i'm not saying we're rebuilding. hell, at the same point last season we were 1-3 and we wound up going 10-6, clearly this franchise's best season. don't forget we have our top LB - Justin Callihan - coming back from injury, he who got the 2nd most tackles in the league last year (and amazingly didn't go to the Pro Browl), and we have the top cover safety in Alton Filmore coming back from injury. him, couple with Almeida, two of the best shut down corners and our excellent recently acquired nickle back Maurice Meyer and we have the secondary of fury.

that's it, i'm dubbing this year's secondary the "Secondary of Fury". we dare you to pass. go ahead. we'll even let you throw a pass the first time and i'll tell them not to try to block it.
