3-0 baby! Preston Benson opens it up on a 64 yd punt return in the 4th and we cruise to 26-10 victory. 7 SACKS!! Gotta be a career high on our part. Ron Hill had 5.5 of them!! Defense did give up 150 yds rushing but we ate Winston Scott alive so we'll live with that if the damage is minimal.

Offense was so-so could of been better. Steiner was his proficient self while Strong had a good game. All in all though we need to get a tad more aggressive on offense...

I used to do this as a kid. Throw the ball up in the air, and run down the field to see if I could catch my own throw...but this is ridiculous.

Needless to say...Things are not going well in Dakota.
LOL that's some funny shit man! Hang in there...

You know, honestly, I went threw and reset all the line-ups, the first time, so I'm suprised that the game did that. Sorry bout that.

Good game, whoever I played this week.

          lol that would be Murfreesboro.

Very close game. Mule D had a couple of late stops and the offense got that last first down to seal the game.

WV will win their share of games now that Harding is playing. A very balanced O for the beasts.

Haha WH, it is strange how often we play each other, this was the 7th game between us so far.

Btw, I don't know why you hate it, usually you beat us, and today seemed to be going that way. Your offense was bad, but your defense always seemed to stop us just when they needed to in order to keep you guys in the game. It wasn't until my last 2 drives in the 3rd which boosted my confidence a bit.

GG and good luck this season

I'd prefer playing games I know I can win. Most of the time we have great games, but I never know which way they are going to go.

I was worried going into this game today wondering what team would show up. I am so glad the team I was hoping for came out to play. The 2 back attack with Moriarty and Everett is working very well and J.B. Fogarty has been very solid.

2nd year WR Preston Whiting has been a big time playmaker for us this season as Sullivan draws his typical double team.

I can't complain at all how this season is going so far. Were 3-0 and tied for first with Lansing.

I think the main thing going for us this year that is making us better is the play of the OL. These boys are doing a great job so far. The OL is leading the IFL with 44 KRB's so far. C Kent Dunlap is leading the way with 11 of his own in 15 chances.

We have a bye this week and then we head to Lawrence for a big game.

this place gets kinda dead during the week. excellent league, but can we revisit having just one game a week sims? i mean, there's rarely ever any reason to check the boards out during the week, no talks or debates. i check the board like 40 times a day factoring in work/home visits, and there's hardly ever any new stuff. maybe if we went to a mid-week game, like wednesdays, we'd decrease the amount of dead time. as it is you can pretty much just log-in on sundays and not miss anything.

i don't like rules that exist for the sole reason of "well, cuz that's how we did it in the past". can we talk about introducing another game in the week? the pace is just waaay too slow, it's killing me.

Not gonna happen. I understand your frustration and empathize with it, but the league was created by a dude with the express intent of 1 game a week, it was taken over by two dudes who prefer 1 game a week and it was joined by, what im guessing, is by and large, dudes who prefer *this league* to be 1 game a week.

Chatter is always low early in the season and off topic just isn't much a place for anything except usualy my mindless bantering. I personaly would love more talk to go on but I've come to realize that alot of guys just arn't that way and I feel no need to try and force anyone to "put on" just for the sake of making the boards active.

Lets pretend the IFL is your woman, We love you very much but we only like to make love once a week sweetie. I understand your virility is such that you can't handle that, so we don't mind if you go out have mindless sex with whores like *CuObUbGyH* just as long as you realize that we're the girl who really loves you.

Also, while I can't say for sure, I would assume that 1 or 2 multiple game sim weeks will be added to the schedule when Jeff can sit down and figure a schedule out.

for the record...im fine with once a week but if we changed to 2x a week it would be okay...the history of the league was tied to weekend sims for a reason and if its still valid for most of the players then stick to it...HA is right that we shouldnt stick to it because it has always been that way...

with the use of 2 or 3 double game weeks it picks up the pace here and there so its a nice mix...

bottom line...i may suck at gameplanning...my team might suck talent wise...but im easy on the schedule...

how do you know if 1 game a week is still valid if we never talk about it? every time i bring it up it's "no, we do 1 game a week cuz the guy who started the league wanted it that way". i would have less of a problem if we talked about it every once in a while and everyone agreed to keep it as is. but we don't even allow debate.

you're lucky this league is good. i guess i just need to make room for one more league. i hate having more than one leage at a time, but i need something to do during work hours.

I think more chatter would be good, but historically we've shown that it is slow in the beginning part of the season.

This league is great because it allows GM's to learn their players, and other team's players. The slow pace makes each game just mean that much more.

It is nice to have 2-3 double game weeks during the season.
