Santa Ana it says is highs of 80 all week, Santa Monica is 70s, here in the Northeast it's been 100 and humid. I'll def take OC or LA hot!

I'm still in the same small city that I grew up in, and would have a hard time leaving family in the area. My kids are so attached to their grandparents now, I couldn't imagine doing that to them.

my only advice is to study hard so you end up in the top 10% of your class so you get a good job....otherwise you get to prosecute DUIs for 40K a year...

yall crack me up about the humidity - Yall don't know humidity!

Every year when the Titan rookies come to camp they are all stunned by the humidity in middle Tennessee. 10 am and it is 98 degrees with 98% humidity and it stays that way, or worse, till the sun goes down.

Anyplace where they will sell you a car or rent you an appartment without AC does not have a humidity problem - lol

But life tells me one thing for certain (more than the "taxes" part of "death and taxes"): Wherever there are rich people there's a ghetto within walking distance due to...

1) The wealthy will never really earn a living.
2) The wealthy will never pay the poor enough for travel expenses when they can just have a ghetto nearby.

I was in Carbondale, Il. In late July for a rugby tourney.
The temp was in the high 90s as was the hunidity. We were surrounded by trees, so no breeze.
Shade from the trees, you say. Sure, there was shade from the trees. the only thing was the tourney was in the middle of the day and when you went under the trees, tics would drop on you like rain. It was grim
