How should the new board look?

Well, me and sovstar went through some templates for the new board and we have seen some we like. We are not real sure if you guys will complain about a dark colored board which both of us seem to prefer, but I will throw up some different looks in this thread over the rest of the week and you guys can comment.

#1 - this is called Bones for some reason....

I don't think there is another template I would like more than that one. Something about it's old-school and streamlined look.

I could create a kickass logo for that board.

I think what really sells me on it is with the number of forums kept low like that, then they are all on your screen with no need to scroll down. Guys will not miss things because they forget to scroll down, or are just lazy and don't.

Let me add though that there is a minor problem with this one. because the format is different then normal, I guess some hacks will not work as they should. This is according to the readme file that came with the template.

But, not having looked through the hacks for phpBB yet, I am not even sure if or what I would use.

It's too bright of a blue for me but it should be noted that I'm always initially against any type of change when it comes to software.

Yeah, i like that too, for some reason my finger wont scroll down alot of the time and i end up missing a bunch of stuff, Im just a lazy so and so. Streamlined is good.

You have the max avatar height and width switched around.

And 6 KB seems pretty small given that my current helmet is 15 KB.
