Holy schmoly what a battlefield.. rain, 88 degrees, and a whole lot of blood..

My team is decimated.. one defensive end out, rookie receiver out, Olivarez probably done for his career (that's just heartbreaking by the way), Wiley Henry out, replacement tackle Johnson out... all for the season.. and this was just what happened to MY team in this game..

We had a chance, albeit a small one, at the end of the game, but Virgil couldn't complete any of his 4 passes in the red zone in the final minute.

Yeah, it looks like I am definitely in. Even if there is a 3 way tie for the last couple of spots, I win the tiebreaker due to conference record. There won't be any head to head sweep tiebreaker that comes into play if I am in the mix.

Damn, it's nice to be back in the playoffs, but I still have one other thing to do this season. Win the division! Also, if I can win one more game, I have the #2 seed locked up.

I think the team that is in the most difficult position is Norfolk. They are banged up, and have two games that have playoff implications for both teams. Plus, they are awfully banged up. I think St. Louis and Houston are locks to get in. That leaves Norfolk and Cali. I like Cali's chances better. But, if we beat CBA this week, then NFK has a good shot of knocking us off due to us resting starters. Although, I do want to get to .500 against NFK.

Actually, 22 yards (you spot the ball where the holder is OR 7 yards from the LOS). But who's counting?
translation...fm the 35 its a 52 yd FG and the other team takes the ball at the 42 if you miss no the 35. This is often called the maroon zone or some other catchy phrase. I would prefer a setting in FOF 2007 that allows you to decide how to play from the 35 to the 50 for going on 4th instead of 1-20 and 21-49 yd line. I would kick inside the 30 more often and go between 30-45 area on 4th because of just what you are talking about...a punt is sissy play and usually nets little field position...a missed FG gives up the 7 extra yds and is difficult for a lot of kickers...going for it is the middle ground and the preferred call...u see that more and more in the NFL now.

Just damn. Who drafted that kid?

Edit: Also, McKenzie only has 13 yards with those 10 picks. I'd say that's a little funky. Shouldn't be that many no-return yardage picks.
maybe he likes to get his picks in the red zone. 8)

Heh. A good majority of defensive backs are too jacked up to know what the smart play is most of the time (that being taking a knee).

lol...maybe in FOF that is a bug...they all take the touchback instead...i have noticed on most picks in the endzone its a touchback and havent really looked at how often the DB gets the pick in the endzone and goes Primetime with a 60 yard return that nets 10 yds down the field.
