we shouldn't be punting from under the 35 yard line. that's the bottom line.

Re: Week 15 & 16 Discussion
Looks like Madison, Columbia, Vermont and Newark have pulled up their pants and left this party.Originally posted by Trivia BytesTRIVIA BYTES - CRUNCH WEEK PREVIEW
There are eight teams that form a huge cluster-duck in the NC ... all looking to find a way to get the final playoff spot in the NC. There should be one that nuts up in this circle jerk ... and after that team gets the final berth, it just might have generated enough momentum to cause some heartache in the playoffs too. Here's the infamous lineup of contestants:
Oakland, Reno, Tulsa and Dakota still :jerkit: . Who has the staying power?

Don't feel bad, Kobeck. Your team is on the rise, and likely will be one of the best teams next season when 2k7 kills off a bunch of the old timers in the league. I was extremely nervous about this game, but thrilled at the outcome.Originally posted by KobeckHouston is clearly better than the Mules. First game was not as close as the final score. Really glad I took the time to go over everyting twice before I sent in the export
ops:
Haven't figured out the standings, but Mules at 8-6 are definatly longshots for the playoffs. Despite that still the best record in Mules history.
Staff will be evaluated in the offseason. kicking an 18 yard FG down by 3TDs
Just do me a favor, destroy the Pigeons in two weeks please

Hopefully it's just teams who are out of it and lost a little interest down the stretch, coming back strong next year.Originally posted by WarhammerMan, I hope we don't have a lot of defections at the end of the year...Steve Beans - Houston Renegades

I don't give a shit about the bye at this point ... I'm bustin my ass just trying to get in. Heck, remote as it may seem, Hartford, at 11-3, is still not mathmatically assured a slot.Originally posted by SteveBsFanYea I know, I was looking forward to that week offOriginally posted by SuicaneDoesn't look like the AC South winner has much chance of getting a bye at this point.
Fun times for alot of good teams in the AC. Aint it great --

Eh, that is unless there is some twisted three-way or four-way crap that could go down...

How about Oliver McKenzie of the Mules? 10 INT's is 2nd-best in the league and maybe better than Rhodes' 12, since it seems that one of the patches affected picks quite a bit.
Just damn. Who drafted that kid?
Edit: Also, McKenzie only has 13 yards with those 10 picks. I'd say that's a little funky. Shouldn't be that many no-return yardage picks."Larry Deasoooooooooooooooooon" -- Phil Jenkins

Whoever gets in, it looks to be brutal in the first round . Count your blessings as you watch from your comfy recliner.Originally posted by JeffEh, that is unless there is some twisted three-way or four-way crap that could go down...

i don't think you're gonna win against the Cardinals, but if you do i will like you for a long time. you're the only team that stands a good chance of beating the Cardinals - they lucked out and were scheduled with some easy teams to close out their season the last 3 or so games. :evil:Originally posted by VitoStallionSLC rolls and gets St. Louis next 8)

That Ogre magic finally wore off! I was sitting here watching the game and cursing out Willoughby, until they finally pulled it off. Just a crazy game, might be the craziest game I have ever seen. Three scores in the final two minutes, and a missed extra pt by Lansing in the final minute was the difference. There were 19 possessions in the second half and only 2 punts (8 int's, 7 TD's, and 2 FG's).
On to my game...as pointed out, we lost Edmonds with a hernia. No idea if that is career threatening, but he only had one more year with us anyway. We are fairly deep at WR though, and Treu should step in nicely.
Big thing was the win though! Hard fought game as always with Madison. We clinched a playoff berth and the best record in franchise history.
Wins by the two commishes this week could give us homefield through the playoffs...Los Angeles Matadors AC West Champs: 2037
