Glad to know it isn't my game planning on defense that sucks because my defensive coordinator's plan for this game sucked more than my plans the first few weeks of the year. So much for my theory that is was all me and that I could rely on the recommend button.

1) Defensive coordinators have nothing to do with what happens when you hit scout recommend. They only come into play with player development. (<-maybe you knew this and were just role-playing
)
2) I wouldn't ever rely on scout recommend in FOF 2004. The run percentages on offense and defense ALWAYS remain the same in case you didn't notice. Personally, I have used scout recommend to look at the values for run direction, pass distances, and to see how the AI would cover WR's. That's all though."Larry Deasoooooooooooooooooon" -- Phil Jenkins

Thanks Boss... You killed us. Really expected better out of the D. Markel continues to struggle, but we are sticking with him.Originally posted by JesterBlazeWow! I wasn't expecting today's game to be so easy. I wasn't even very confident on a victory. Columbia just didn't show up defensively and this one was over at the start of the 2nd.
Tough loss, David. Your team's much better than what they showed today.
The Beaver's starting to show the off-season doubters why I made a strong bid to pick him up and Rockwell's efforts are already documented. Could Stanfield be available in the off-season???GM Columbia Fire

With a home game next week I can say my road streak is currently at 11 regular season games. I have no clue how that is compared to the rest of the league though, but I think may be good.Originally posted by JesterBlazeWho has the record for consecutive home victories? I'm probably jinxing myself right now but I'm at a season and a half right now as Tulsa comes to town.
(I know you talked about home streaks but home, road and overall streaks are always pretty cool to know and I don't think the game tracks any of them)Steve Beans - Houston Renegades

It probably also breaks the IFL record for most consecutive weeks leading a division. :POriginally posted by r00kYea, I think you are correct ...Originally posted by SteveBsFanLike I said, I feel lucky but thanksOriginally posted by r00kBeans ...

Look at it this way though, for whatever reason, Hartford has always had Boston's number. I think FOF is interesting in that regard. Some teams that have never had any success can beat other more successful teams with no problem, for whatever reason. Other times, teams that give others fits, are no problems for other teams, etc.Originally posted by kingfc22Glad to know it isn't my game planning on defense that sucks because my defensive coordinator's plan for this game sucked more than my plans the first few weeks of the year. Speaking of kickers.......
Dave Jorden(I notice everyone had a link for their players.....not sure how to do that yet) is the real deal. Nice find by Jeff. This guy is lights out this year going 15/17 with a long of a 57 yarder. Couldn't find a record for longest field goal, but thats a long ass shot.
EDIT: found the record...59 yards...oh well, 57 is still impressive.

[ifl]Dave Jordan[/ifl] was originally found by ME. I was going to keep him, but went with [ifl]Don Croft[/ifl] instead. Croft did me right last year, so I guess I made the right short term decisionOriginally posted by JaveSpeaking of kickers.......
