So I go to the local bar to meet some dude that's a "good 'old school' friend" of my"good 'old school' friend" that we're testing for the possibility of moving out of the North East...

Not more than 10 minutes into playing my first game of pool I hear an argument between "fool #1" and "fool #2" on who's got the better car based on what they payed for it. Without looking to see faces I explain aloud that they're both fools and the argument should be based on car value, not what they paid for it (sucker price).

A while later I'm introduced to potential-roommate who has an obvious chip on his shoulder and when I question why it turns out he was fool #1 or #2 (I would say I forget but that would imply that I registered which one when he told me).

So after beating him at the 2nd game of pool he becomes drunk aggressive and pushes me... to which I respond by looking around in an "is he serious?" fashion... to which he shows his undeniable confirmation by pushing me again... to which I respond by putting the "butt end" of the pool stick into his nose, causing blood to ruin my new shirt and old jeans... to which the crowd responds by approaching us in an I'd-like-to-look-helpful-but-I-really-don't-want-to-be-involved way... to which I respond by grabbing dude in a guillotine-on-demand reverse headlock thingy whilst telling the would-be-calmer-downers that I was perfectly calm and not to be feared and that I was looking to continue playing pool and not kick dude's head in... to which they respond by faux-working-with-me until they successfully get dude from me and then tell me that I have to leave...

and in confusion I leave and respond by paying my roommate's late internet bill in order to get this week's export in and, perhaps more importantly, jerk off. Someone said that all good stories have a happy ending.

There are two big problems with going solo:

1) When ya can barely afford to stay afloat paying half of the bills ya can't afford all of the bills. : )
2) I think I'd kill myself within 3 months of living alone.


What I need and am trying to do is move to a warm area (Atlanta's the current target) and get a "partner in crime" roomie, but the following sets of beliefs which I have appear to be extreme opposites in 99% of people:

1) I like to fuck a lot of women while at the same time not lying to them nor having any animosity towards the female species.
2) I believe in intelligence and physical strength.
3) I believe in drugs and honor.

Conclusion: Dude had a broken nose and cheekbone and got his stitches removed in time for Easter with no charges apparently being pressed! Best conclusion possible for all parties at this point I'd say.
