Well the gameplan on D worked for us. I was really thinking Tulsa would slaughter us. Fortunately, Connell finally gets the gameplan. He now understands he will be getting the ball all day long.

No more major injuries and we now have crept up to 2-3. We get a bye week and get to go into it with 2 positive weeks in a row. Hopefully, Connell has really turned the corner and will continue to explode.

The dropped passes are beginning to hurt. 5 more today. Turns a 15-35 into a 20-35.
I was steam rolled by the run. I couldnt do anything. Hopefully, Tito Ash's return will help. Though, he seems to be a chronic underacheiver.

Back to the drawing board I guess.

Wow. Rockwell about doubled what I hoped to get out of him!

At least for one week my trades are looking good.

Newark vs Little Rock was a very exciting game!! I was really dreading falling even further behind in the NFC East this week.

            I hate this game. WTF!!!!!

4th and 13 at our own 41 with 51 seconds left in OT. PUNT THE FUCKING BALL!!! I would much rather tie the game, then let them get 5 yards to be in FG position.

Not to mention that we can hit a 58 yd. FG to end the first half, but a 48 yarder in OT is too tough.

Then we have a defense that last year played well against the pass, yet this season we can't stop anybody. Not even a 2nd stringer.

Good game Jave! Another close battle this week for the Demons. This was a big win for us.

Newcomer LB Arlen Weise had a nice game with 10 solo's and 2 assists. He should help us out a lot this year.

QB Will Irby is quietly putting up a nice season so far. Irby is completing over 60% of his passes with 10 TD's and no INT's. He is currently the 2nd rated QB in the IFL right now with a 104.9 rating.

CB Neal Ferguson with another big play today a 48 yard INT return for a TD. When will the IFL learn not to throw the ball in this guys direction?? This was his 14th INT in his 34th game.

Good to get a win against the Devils as it could have playoff implications down the road.

Still not too happy with our OL play at all. Hopefully, they start playing better real soon.

The Demons have a tough schedule this year and this first five games were against some stiff competition. Lansing, Wichita, Tulsa, Salt Lake and Oakland. I guess were happy to be 3-2 at this point.

I don't agree. I don't think the game was in the 'should have won' category for Boston. Not that they didn't deserve to win, but it's not like they dominated and I got lucky. Both sides played really well. They missed a 48 yarder or something like that, but they also got a 58 yarder from a kicker with 38 power.

The 4th down was a tough call, hard to blame considering the last few drives you were doing really well on offense, even converted a 4th down earlier in the game. Not to mention that you badly needed a win more than a tie at this stage in the season. It was a questionable call, but not really a terrible one, just a big gamble that would have looked fantastic had you converted and won.

It was a good game though, i'd say that even if I lost. Your team played real well and your offense did fantastic against my usually stingy defense.

btw, had Iowa City came back from being down 14 points in the last 6 minutes of the game i would have left the IFL after the end of this season. just putting it out there, if this is the nonsense that woulda happened for like the 10th time to my team i'd have rather spent my free time doing something else. this horrible game is fucking lucky.

Who is undefeated a quarter of the way through the season with the league's best scoring defense?? Good comeback win, Mann's 16th 4th quarter comeback in 40 wins. Good game for him, would have been great but he threw a pick that almost cost us the game. Reno scored on like the 3rd play of the game, but was held to only six points in the next 70 minutes of game time. [ifl]Isaiah Graybill[/ifl] set a team record with 15 tackles, but part of the reason was because we couldn't stop the run worth a damn.

Rookie TE [ifl]Matthew Borders[/ifl] might get his first starting shot this week after coming up huge when Edelstein got hurt in OT:
                      Code:
1-10-REN40 (06:39) PIT 23 Rodrigez ran outside the right tackle for 8 yards.
Tackled by REN 96 Sandusky, assisted by REN 59 Gregg.
Key block delivered by PIT 60 Anderson.
PIT 80 Edelstein was injured on the play.

2-02-REN32 (06:02) PIT 23 Rodrigez ran a trap outside the left tackle for -2 yards.
                         Tackled by REN 96 Sandusky.

3-04-REN34 (05:23) PIT 16 Mann pass completed to 86 Borders for 9 yards.
                         Tackled by REN 96 Sandusky.
Five point favorites heading into Oakland, where we should have the advantage in the trenches. Should be a good game!

                          Or his team is luckier.
