I really liked the way Burger played. Williams also continues to impress me. Only God knows why he didn't win the ROY last year.

I'm kinda pissed that rookie FB Shaun Schultz got hurt. I wanted to use him this preseason.

Gaylor had an awesome game for us, Norton went 9 of 10 for 151 yards and a TD. I think he might be a bit fired up after we went out and drafted two QBs.

No major injuries, all in all a successful game.

I sure hope the reason my O-line cohesion sucks is because I am sitting all 5 of my starters. . .

                Observations from Tulsa:

Lost my C for the rest of preseason (he is doubtful but old. Im saving him)
Boyce Groth turns in a Terrel Owens type performance (4 recs for 39 yds 1 drop and 9 targeted)
                Defense was solid.
Offensive line was weak. Not happy about this development.
Running Back is a wide open position. I am trying everyone to see who fits into my system.
Devon Taylor has a sense rush rating of 100. He was sacked 5 times.
My defensive backs were outstanding. It will be hard to pass against Tulsa this season.

                  Successful except that you lost

[ifl]Cavazos[/ifl] was 8-11, but for only 66 yards. He did come up with the winning drive, however.

this year's Heroes team is not awesome by any means, but i think by having Collela at QB and 2 high calibre WR's - one who's a rookie and could possibly have a great career - we may sneak up on people. 8-8 for us would be a very good season. next season is when it all comes together. i need to start concentrating on my defense so that when the 4th quarter comeback code starts to bite me in the ass i have some guys who can stand up to the challenge. what screwed me up was bleeding so much in dead money, never should have allowed the team to throw away $10+million in salary. plus, i need to make a little more money so i can afford better coaches. offensively i'm expecting an improvement over last year, picking up Little Rock's old coach.

i made 2 big moves this past offseason, one to bring in our QB for the next 6-7 years, and to bring in someone who could be the best WR in the game if things pan out. we're committed to Larry Deason at RB for the next 3-4 years, and our O-line, on paper, is top 5 in the league. i'll take that any year. gotta focus on the defensive end now. our D was seriously awful last year. the good thing about only winning 3 or 4 games the year before is that it wouldn't take a great season to be an improvement. i'll be happy with 8-8, hopefully the 4th quarter comeback code can work in our favor a game or two and maybe we can surprise people with 10-6, 9-7. that's me dreaming big though.

Yeah, depth is going to be an issue for you this year.
