  • Planning on 'Franchising' anyone?

I'm sort of bored here, so I thought I start some discussion about tomorrow's sim.

Dallas Brockway was asking for way more than what I wanted to pay him for the next few years. I mean, come on, a second-year cornerback whose ratings were in the 30s when the year began. I'm franchising him now in hopes that he will reason with me. Plus, with this new patch his asking offer might be more reasonable and it sounds like players will actually budge from their original prices now as well.

Anyone else? Who isn't going to become a free agent come tomorrow. Don Webb?

I dunno man, you still pissed about K Jesus Stratton? I may have to tag him to keep him away from you....
My banner is bigger and prettier and cooler then yours. I choose not to show it so your feelings do not get hurt.

This is the toughest time I've ever had with FOF. . .

Usually, all my major drops/decisions are made prior to FA week 1 (Single Player) So I can actually see who is available during the draft. At this point I can start dropping/signing etc.

I know I could do it the same way, but with so many players on my team that need renegotiated contracts, like Beamers 9.6 mil, I really have to develop my strategy now.

This is really tough, especially considering the small FA pool we have to work with.

Wr Williams = Franchised - wanted to make sure I have him locked up no matter what. Hopefully a long term deal can be worked out...

I bet Williams could run for 1,000 yards on that team.

No one here, most of my key players are locked up for next year at least. My good young players are locked up for a few years. Most of my damage is going to be done in the draft I think...

LT Fabian Villa is franchised. I can't give up on my stud tackle. It looks like my team will still be donating some talent to the FA pool. WR Andrew Robey is the best available WR, and the only one that I had!

I hope to get Williams envolved a little more or at least get a good deal for him compared to just losing him.

Milton Martin was franchised by the Mules. "Ellis Bowlware was being obstructionist in his negotiations" said Mules GM Kobeck. Bowlware shot back "M&M is the best, no the greatest CB in the IFL and he should not be paid like a scrub picked up off a sandlot somewhere - ONLY IN AMERICA, Look Out Hold Out Sit'em till they bleed money..."

Milton Martin is now officially off the FA market.

and as an aside the Mules lowered all ticket prices today in order to make their family friendly games more attractive to families.

Cringer I put the file in the FA stage area hope that is the right one.
