  • 2004 Mock Draft

I love playing Mel Kiper. If we were starting a league and our @sses were on the line to be successful this is how I figured the first round would go. I love debates over mock drafts so let me have it! I know there will be a ton of disagreement but that's what makes it so much fun. My 2004 Mock Draft

Thats pretty cool......and you could be right about the direction Little Rock is going.
My banner is bigger and prettier and cooler then yours. I choose not to show it so your feelings do not get hurt.

i can say with some certainty you are pretty close on my selection. At the no1 spot we are likely to avoid your projected player but have our eye on your projected No. 2. Interested to hear why you woud value the RT over the LT.

I have always played my best OL at LT regardless of his position. I've even played centers at LT and had it work out. It just looked like Lane's ratings were slightly above those of Kao in every category. Now, if I planned to play a RT at RT and a LT at LT then I would take Kao #1 for sure because blind side protection is so important.

Has anyone had any problems playing an OL out of their actual position?

Great list!! I think you are right on for me to take the best lineman available or maybe quaterback. By the time it gets to me who knows. I always play my best Tackle on the left. I have never tried a Guard or Center at Tackle.

Barring some strange change of direction KAO is our boy. We would like him renamed to KO as thats what he will do to DL from opposing teams....

BTW is it possible to get the list of players from free agents to an excel or word etc file so I can delete or mark off players as selected on sunday night. Im a little concerned about how we will track this at home to avoid the "he's already taken idiot" type situations.

              Thoughts anyone?

I will be updating league files every round or two, we will see how it goes and how much you guys want it updated. It will take a few minutes each time to get up, and a few minute for everyone to d/l and out in, so that is a consideration.

I would have to say that you might have nailed it on my pick for the position but I'm still undecided whether to go for the here and now or build for the future and draft potential, hmm theres a topic for discussion.

Tidbit: I just noticed one of my top two choices overall isnt' even on the 1st round mock. Could be that Lawrence surprises some with it's #8 pick.

                          this is great.

Looks like Lane slipped to 11th overall.

I was jumping for joy when Maynard slipped as far as he did, which was mid-2nd round.

unfortunately, I was too shy to join an online league and couldn't overcome it until after week 1.
