The draft util is a go

Just received word from Cringer that the draft utility we have been planning to use is now a go. This should make the draft run a lot quicker and much, much smoother. Much thanks to TredWel of the eNFL for creating the utility and for sharing it as well. He said his draft takes approximately 5-7 days. It is pretty much a given that we will be pushing the start of the draft back because of this, so that we can can complete more stages of free agency before starting. Any comments or concerns are welcome.

If ya got your preferences set up then a complete round should take about well 3 seconds or so.

I think everyone should have to set their prefreences for the first round before the start of the draft.

course I could be wrong as some people might prefer to see if there could maybe be a run on T and De :lol:

That's the problem with a draft, I can rank my 30 top players, but if it looks like my #1 position is going to still be there in the second round, but all my #2 priority position players are being picked, I may take one of them to guarantee I get a good one....

Took us about a week in the HFL using a similar utlity, it goes slow for the first 2 or 3 rounds based on trading and wanting to see who goes where but Once things get moving it mows along fairly quick.

This is going to be one long weekend. As if this week wasn't bad enough. Got the draft here and waiting for my copies of CC2-5 to arrive. Getting to play Die Macher next week, I'm going to be pulling my hair out!
