  • Single Player Question

I fired up FOF2004 for a little single player action, and as i roll through through championship after championship i got to wondering FOF2007. Is it any harder? Has the AI been spruced up at all? Or is it the same AI with new features? I'm looking for a challenge through tougher AI, not through coming to learn the changes in the engine (and subsequently adapting).

I really can't answer that as I do not play singleplayer whatsoever. I sort of planned on trying it in FOF 2007, but gave up pretty quickly after I noticed some quirky things.

I would imagine that very few, if any, IFL guys are playing solo either. Your question would best be answered at FOFC, a place where I'm sure at least a few guys would chime in with their two cents.

    Sorry I can't really help.

I tried out a single player complete draft league and after winning championships in the 2nd and 3rd seasons I got bored with it, the computer just doesn't seem to make it hard for you in regards to personnel decisions and free agency. My success is more than likely an anomally, and nothing to base facts on, but yeah, single player to me seems easy and boring.

the only reason why i will buy FOF2k7 will be for this league, and i will dread doing so. i'm kinda soured on text sim gaming in general, i only like it for MP purposes.

          ditto.

i was snooping around FOFC but 9 out of 10 posts are about the very nuances of the engine. and most of those had to do with MP leagues. the impulse passed, so, no biggie...get to look forward to IFL offseason, my favorite part of the game.
