  • QUESTION?

OK when I place my ifltest8.07q file in my league folder my game crashes with the "Unable to load game file". But when I remove it and re-select my team and enter my password it works fine.

    Am I doing something wrong.

What do you mean by place? A Q file should be created for you in the leagues folder when you first set up the league and it should remain there untouched.

When I select my team, enter the league name, and enter my password it gives me the Q file in my export folder. I copy that file from my export folder to my league folder.

But everytime I download the new files and run my game I get the error unable to load. When I remove that Q file and reenter everything, I can log into the game with no issues.

I am sure it is something I am doing wrong... Not sure what! But very frustrating having to reselect everything.

I created a new league, as participant, chose my team and was prompted with a request to enter my password. Didn't move any files or anything, everything was handled "in game".

I will check that out tonight and see what I come up with. Thanks Coder.

That Q file that gets exported is trash. It's only used as a placeholder when the commish initially creates the league (unless the league is using a preference draft). Where did you get the idea that you needed to put that in your leagues folder?
