  • Week 8 Game Of The Week?

    Columbia 4-2-1 At Tulsa 5-2
Julian and company march into the Cow Pasture and try and reclaim the NFC South from the upstart Cows. Chances are this baby is gonna be a high scoring affair. Should be a heck of a fun matchup.

Houston 5-2 At Iowa City 3-4
The Snipe Hunters are scratching and clawing to keep their head above water but the high powered Renegades arn't anyones recipe for a relaxing day. Pretty big game as both teams have deep playoff hopes and both need wins to keep pace.

    Lawrence 5-2 At Oakland 4-3
Up in the air, it's a bird, it's a plane, it's a.........football. Could be a wild day as 2 big offenses with 2 big QB's get together in Oakland. The Owls don't wanna slip to 4-4, especially at home, but it'll be a wild one for sure as they and the Phantoms go toe to toe in a battle of NFC Big wigs.

    Madison 4-2 At Pittsburgh 4-2
It's Groundhog day in Pittsburgh, as the Power and the Demons lock horns 1 more time in a battle for supremecy in the AFC North and the division lead.

    Montreal 3-4 At Louisiana 3-3
Two teams fighting to keep in the playoff hunt face off in Louisiana on Sunday. Both teams have been pleasant surprises but they each need to pad some wins to their record so this is a pretty pivotal matchup in both teams seasons.

    Newark 5-1 At Vancouver 3-3
The Killer Whales are still very much in the NFC West hunt, but Newark is always an impossing opposition. Crespo and the Bulldogs march into Vancouver looking to pad their NFC East lead while the Killer Whales look to stay within striking distance in their division.

Salt Lake City 4-2 At Reno 3-3
A big game as the Stallions and Wolfpack face off in the desert on Sunday afternoon. This is what we in the buisness call a pivotal swing game. A win by Reno ties them up with SLC at the halfway point, while a win by SLC puts some breathing room between themselves and a division opponent.

    St. Louis 6-1 At Wichita4-3
The Outlaws are fighting tooth and nail in the competitive AFC North and welcome the high powered Cardinals offense to Wichita on Sunday.

    Vermont 3-3 At Orlando 3-3
No week 8 game is a "must win" but the winner of this game comes out of it above .500 while the loser has a much tougher road to hoe in catching the Bulldogs. A pretty big game.

if i was a gambling man i would put a LOT of money down on the Heroes this week vs Weak Virginia, i mean West Virginia.

we're gonna leave our balls on the field this game. and by balls i mean our scrotum, our testicles.

it's gonna be fucking ugly. i tweaked my gameplan some more. this is the winning gameplan right here. if this doesn't work i'm going extreme. but it's gonna work.

    our balls.

but this is where it begins. right here, right now. this second. this upcoming game sets the table for everything.

other 1-5 teams would be content with a win. no. a win would disappoint me.

i'm looking for utter domination of such a calibre that whoever runs West Vaginia will consider stepping down. i have to achieve the equivalent of inserting my phallus into their tight cunts and pulling out right at the moment of climax and shoving the fat one right in their ass and dispensing my ejaculatory superiority.

Also, open up default.txt and make sure it has this directory in it:

I was a homer and picked our game against Vancouver. We've always struggled against them, and if my memory serves me right I don't think we've ever beaten them.
I don't feel good about the game.

With respect to the NFC North and South, who both have GREAT competitive matches this week, Jeff and I's "oil/water" relationship (despite his coincidentally and well deserved promotion to co-commissioner) over 6 seasons combined with "full clips" for both teams presents a more entertaining and play-off altering game for the historical IFL viewer.

A slobberknocker for sure. Should be fun. Connell is almost hopelessly chasing Crespo for that rarified rushing stats air of his. He's having a killer season. But Crespo continues to amaze me.

I voted for my own game. Probably a bigger game for me right now because of my record, but Lawrence can really solidify themselves as a playoff team with a road victory.
