Week 7 discussion (Hey db)

[ifl]Thurman Richardson[/ifl] of Pittsburgh is officially the best backup RB in the league this year. He has more yards rushing then 11 regular starters, including [ifl]William Brown[/ifl], Chris [ifl]Webb[/ifl], and others.

Not bad for the 4th round pick who didn't have a single carry as a rookie last year.

i fucking suck. this latest loss, even though it was against the hard Lynx - took a lot of wind out of my sails.

statistically i think the Heroes were superior to the Lynx in most every categy - but i guess the only categy that matters to be superior in is points.

finally got [ifl]Deason[/ifl] to get more carries than Lincoln, finally got one WR to get over 100 yards receiving, [ifl]Richardson[/ifl] almost passed for 300 yards.

[ifl]Gilpin[/ifl] is overrated. if he didn't cost me practically nothing i'd consider trading him, but he just doesn't make that much money thanks to Montreal picking up the tab on his signing bonus. still, he's fucking useless this season.

I never had the .. uh .. privilege of having to follow a High School team while I was in Georgia... I did, however, watch one game (actually I was more focused on the cheerleaders) where Tift County High School whopped some other team real good..

Your team is proof that there is more to winning in FOF than stacking up a talented roster. You made some very nice moves in the offseason, I just think you were trying to make a boom too fast. Some people say cohesion is overrated. I'm not one of them.

yeah, I was "watching" your game in high speed while flicking back and forth to other windows and I thought FOF Viewer wasn't recording your rushing yards. "No way Crespo's at zero at this point" I thought.

Your defense was rock solid towards the end. I kept getting the ball in prime position to at least kick a FG to go up by more than a TD (and avoid another dreaded Sepulveda 2 minute comeback) and went nowhere, unless you count backwards as somewhere.

Virgil certainly needs some weapons around him though.

yeah, i think i might've had some lofty expectations for this team despite massively shaking it up. i think this time next season we'll be performing at a level that i'm more satisfied with.
