I don't mean to sound flip. I don't get any joy out of causing injuries to opponents. Losing Hynes after a hand off is gonna suck. I hate those dumb ass freak injuries. Anyway. I don't know what to say, Pirates. Nothing comes out right. Hang in there.

I know. I was pumpin' my fist over the win, then looked at the log and almost felt kinda bad. Not like it hasn't happened to any or all of us, but it still sucks.

good game Jeff. Our D forced some TO's early which helped us get an early lead that we wouldn't relinquish. I'm happy with the way our guys stepped up today. Big ups to Ruben Sante. He had a terrific game for us, and was the reason we won.

everything went right for us last year. Nothing going our way this year. Turnovers and penalties keyed our loss today. Alexander has turned into an interception machine. Doesn't help that key wr and FB are out most of the season. Long season in cleveland ops:

Did Hamilton get hurt at all? Game log doesnt say anything but Papa The Greek came in out of nowhere on a 3rd down play. I know it was 27-3 but there was a full quarter to go and the ball was at midfield. Seems like a weird decision but this is fof.

That's what I thought. Hamilton was fine. The Greek played pretty good, all things considered.

Although Crespo's stat line looks gaudy, I thought Oakland did a great job of holding him down. Crespo broke a 73yarder in the 3rd quarter which helped out a bit

Ya know what just occured to me? How cool would it be if Iowa City left town with the flu bug. It should be contractable.
