  • Who Is The Pre Season MVP Favorite?

    RB Alan Crespo, Newark Bulldogs:
Averaging just under an astonishing 2000 yards per season in his first 3 seasons, does Crespo have what it takes to get back to back MVP awards? Crespo got a ton of praise last season for Newarks division title and a deeper run in the playoffs this year could only help Alans quest for back to back MVP honors.

    QB Tobias Stansfield, Lawrence Phantoms:
Slowly improving himself over his first 5 seasons, Stansfield has had back to back monster seasons. The Phantoms lack of post season success however may have been a detriment to Stansfields award chances. One has to believe that if Stansfield can replicate the numbers he's enjoyed the previous 2 seasons and add a playoff run to the mix, he would be right at the front of the line come award time.

    QB Gene Hamilton, Oakland Owls:
Hamilton has stepped into the stratosphere as far as the pantheon of IFL Quarterbacks go, but depsite guady numbers last season, the Assassains seemed to be a shell of their 2006 selves. A return to glory for the Owls could mean major hardware for Hamilton.

    QB Leslie Steiner, Anchorage Lynxx:
Despite never putting up the guady numbers of some other QB's in the IFL, Steiner, much like Norfolks Harold Lozier is a consumate field general who just wins. The 2006 MVP is always a threat to collect individual hardware as long as he continues to put up the wins and with newly aquired Max Brown on the outside, Steiners numbers could see a leap as well.

    QB Harold Lozier, Norfolk Vipers:
The 2005 MVP has added an IFL title and 2 Imperial Bowl appearances to his resume since winning the award. One would assume that a continuation of dominance in the AFC East would put "Finger" at the front of the line for another MVP trophy.

QB Ralph Given, Little Rock Toads:
Through a steady and outstanding IFL career, Given has perhaps never been given the credit he rightly deserves. His 2 Imperial appearences and 1 Imperial Bowl crown are glorious achievments to be sure, but perhaps this is the year that Ralph finaly gets the individual recognition so many feel he deserves.

I went out on a limb with Stansfield, im predicting a playoff run for Lawrence and another monster season for Tobias, culminating in an MVP award.
    I luv British womenz.

Not gonna happen. Unless Dixon goes down and I have to pass more.
My banner is bigger and prettier and cooler then yours. I choose not to show it so your feelings do not get hurt.

I picked Stansfield because I know what he brings to the table every week. I think this is the year Lawrence gets into the playoffs.

Oh, and I voted for other. Other being whichever runningback has over 400 receiving yards and a YPC under 4.
