  • Conference Championship's Discusion

That is it folks. 1 game to go, and hopefully they live up to these last couple rounds of the playoffs which have been pretty good.

Un-freakin'-believable!! I really thought I would wilt against Cartagena and the Fire. I guess I should have been starting Sedillo at strong side LB all year. I only put him in because of injury and now he has to player of the game awards for the playoffs. I would have given it to my MLB Marshall for his 2 INT's. That guy never picked one off all year and he has two against Cartagena. Weird - but good. The weirdest thing is my WR Soliz 4 yard TD run!? Great game. I lost in every stat category except TOP and the score - again. Good luck next year Columbia, I for sure thought you were going to drop huge points on me.

Damn!! Cleveland looks almost the same as my team. Except for the 3005 rushing yards. WTF!? That is unbelievable.

Congrats Cleveland. It was really a hard fought game in 2OT. I think three games on the road got into our head a little bit. We had mental penalty mistakes in very crucial points in the game. Good luck Cleveland! Win it for the AC.

Congrats to Orlando. This current Fire team just makes too many mistakes to play consistently well. I'm surprised I made it this far. The Pirates didn't turn the ball over once, only had four penalties, and converted on a lot of big third down plays. Losing Whitaker early in the second half didn't help my comeback cause at all.

Here's to hoping that the Fire come out of the gates firing early next season. I definitely could have used the home field advantage for this last game. Right now I need to find Julian a good therapist. Any recommendations?

                Great Game Louisana!

You beat me at my own game pounding the rock, but somehow my backup qb came to play and made some big throws all game long. If my QB can perform equal to this in the bowl I may have a good chance!

Orlando Vs Cleveland in a game for the ages, much like Green Bay vs Oakland for a previous generation, we will grow up with rememberances of Imperial Bowl I.

Hehehe, i'm so sleepy, but football starts in 1 hour!

                  Congrats guys.

                    Congratulations to both teams!

There's no favorite (as far as FOF's point spread calculating) in the upcoming game. What a great matchup for the first IFL Bowl!

Go Orlando!! Bring the first IFL Trophy home to the NFC!

This double OT thing is a little weird. If this happened in the NFL, would they have just kept playing like it was a change of quarter? Or would they do a kickoff again at the begining of the 2nd OT?

The game never even really recongnizes the 2nd OT does it? Obviously it had to happen since the last possession by Cleveland was more then the time that was left.....its weird.

In the NFL they just go into another quarter, no kickoff or anything, they just play quarters till it's over. I havn't loaded the game yet so i can't see what you're referring to.

Yeah, that looks right. Its just like in a regular game, they went right into the 6th quarter.
I'm not sure if they have a "half time" after 6 quarters or not but I know that in the first and 2nd overtime its just like playing the 1st and 2nd or 3rd and 4th quarters, no breaks in between.
