hi, the new owner on the block here. i was going over how to set up loading the league and saw that my default team names and stuff would be erased. then it says to make multiple folders to get around this. its a little unclear, but how exactly could/would i go about it so i dont lose my team names and what not.

Well, what i have done is I made new Folders under the Pictures folder that is in the FOF 2004 directory. Labeled 1 as Solo and 1 as Imperial. I then have copies of files in each one that control your univers.

In the universe .zip, you have 2 files, frfoot.fcy and frfoot.fni. These are the city and team nickname files. You will find you have these files already in your Universe folder. These are what your solo game uses, so copy those and save then in a new folder or somewhere else you can remember them. Then the ones that you get from the .zip on the website can go into a folder dedicated for the Imperial League ones. Then when you want to switch between the two, you just copy and paste them into Universe and Leagues folders (the Leagues folder is pretty much for just MP leagues, that is where you put ALL files from the league except for the logos).

There is another option, and that would be to set up batch files, which you will still have to make new folders to hold stuff in. You can find instructions one this page at FOFC.

you know have to grab the latest league files from the website, and you unzip those into the Leagues folder. Then with the MP box open, you load game, select Participant and then your team. You will then see where everything is.

You can also grab the box scores and logs from weeks 1 through week 11 on the website (files page), I will update that tomorrow morning to have the box scores and logs from week 12 up until now.

well, if you are wanting to try and resign players then you upload the export through the website (Send Exports on main page menu). Otherwise there is really no ned for you to send an export in until we start the offseason stuff.

and as sovstar just reminded me in a way, look at the rule that is in the League Office area under NEW RULE. It has to do with signing Free Agents right now....
