Draft Times

We will go ahead and take last years times for now, possible changes to occur depending on what guys think about these times again.


Draft Clock: runs from 6am central to 12 am central

Time Limits:
1st Round - 5 hours
2nd Round - 5 hours
3rd Round - 3 hours
4th Round - 3 hours
5th Round - 2 hours
6th Round - 1 hour
7th Round - 1 hour

If you miss a pick, your clock for the rest of your picks will be affected. For example, if you miss your pick in the 1st round the amount of time you have for your future picks will slide. You would then have 3 hours to make your 2nd round pick, 2 hours to make your 3rd and 4ths, and 1 hour to make your 5th, 6th, and 7th picks.

I'm think this would be able to be implemented by VPI, though mods might have to tinker with some things manually.

Suggestions will be listened to as always, not always taken, but listened to.

This schedule worked alright last year, and allowed us to move things back when needed even.

Draft times is always a big topic, so have at it. Stick with last years or change them up again? I may like to see round 5 chopped to 1 hour but not a big deal to me.

BTW, I am going to look into taking a week off in August. It's time to get some hometime in with the kid (as I tell her to hold on while I finish typing this, niiiiiiice). Not sure what week, but it may be the first week of our offseason since I may have to take a day or two off of work that week anyways because of other shit.

I am leaving on Friday and returning in the evening on Monday. I don't think I can make exports during that time. I'm going up north(yes further north) to visit my sister, and she conveniently disabled her internet up there.

I'm bringing my laptop, and hoping to get a dialup connection somehow. In this case, I can make my exports.

I've got this stage in. I'm leaving tomorrow morning for a nice 10 hour drive minimum. This with my wife, mom, aunt, and my 2 daughters. Way too much estrogen. We're leaving the boy at home with my inlaws because I'm not sure how a 1 1/2 year old would make it.

I've got a friends dialup connection. Hopefully it will work on the laptop when I get up there. Works fine from home right now.

Reminds of the wrestling death tours they do in the winter up in Canada for the first nation peoples who are so far north they are cut off from the rest of the world.

The wrestling company packs a van with 12 people and a trailer with the ring and drive about 5 miles an hour for a day at a time over the frozen swamps, lakes and forrests of Northern Canada.
