Reminder: non-playoff team rule.

Teams that did NOT make the playoffs can NOT sign free agents from here on out. League rule for a long tme but there are a couple guys who probably don't know this rule yet.

Non-playoff teams may cut or resign their own players as they see fit.

Look in the League Rules for full detail. I just woke up for cryin' out loud.

I just assumed that rule took effect after the last game of the regular season. Gotta field a team, even if the game is meaningless. I'd rather not put a bunch of questionables out there to get even more battered in a game like that.

You did nothing wrong. The rule is from after the week 17 games and on, that's it.

What you did is fine, you had injured players and signed guys to play. No big deal.
