Since the FOF boards are still down, I got another question to ask here. Does anyone know how to start a league with completely fictional players?

Yeah, but it asks that I select a file to take the players from. How do I generate a random list, not the ones from the game?

if you do not want to use the default fictional players, you can use the FOF League Generator that HeavyReign (Fast Break Basketball) made for FOF. It will create a .cvs file that you can then use with Player File Generator that is part of FOF. Basically the utility creates the names and all that crap, then the Player File Generator converts it into an FOF player file.Originally posted by WarhammerSince the FOF boards are still down, I got another question to ask here. Then when you start a new league, you can import the player file and you have a unique set of players. This is what was done for the Imperial League.
I will try to find the FOF League Generator for you, may be tomorrow though. You could ask at IHOF, they may have a link for the download over thereMy banner is bigger and prettier and cooler then yours. I choose not to show it so your feelings do not get hurt.

I asked at the temp. FOFC boards and no answer yet. You can try this, I just zipped what I have and uploaded it. I don't remember if it came like that or if it was something I had to install. But just download this and make a folder for them somewhere.
Then just click the file "FictionalFOF", enter the info, and hit Output File.
After that, you should see an excel, or word file that you just created.
From there, you go into your Front Office Football 2004 directory, click on "PlayerFile", there should be 2, 1 w/a ? and one with the Solecismic logo. Click the one with the logo. Enter in the info so it matches the way you had it in the file you made in the League Generator. Click generate player file, the find and select the file you made with the League Generator. It will then ask you what name you would like to save as, and put whatever you want.
You are done, start a solo career, use an alternate player file, when it asks you what one choose the one you just made.

Hey, maybe you guys can help me get my "gameplanner.exe" utility working. It won't on my new load and I'm not sure why. I'd really like to get this tool back.[Vito]Stallion

Yeah, it worked great. Well, aside from my stud FL from the dispersal draft went down with an ACL injury 3 weeks into his first season. I have figured out the defense, now if I can only get my 64/85 rated QB to perform!
