Actually you can't. Since Reno and Oakland are facing off, someone is sure to have a better record than Vancouver.

Way to fix that gameplan Jeff. . from 600 yards to 165. . .
I may be slightly partial, but I'd start the vet Chris Chaplin.
But he hasn't done anything since the playoff game he threw 3 ints almost two years ago

Don't start Chaplin because the guy who got you here had one bad game. That seems like a Jave kind of move.

Looks like WV will have an opportunity to go winless and be the first team to do that in Imperial history.

On a good note, rookie RB Nicky Kersey broke the 1000yd plateau. Congrats Mr. Kersey

Dammit, what a week, we got smashed. Caro chucked the ball downfield all day, and we couldn't get a single INT or really put any pressure on him, even though their entire o-line is injured. And my pass heavy gameplan resulted in more runs than passes (until we started chucking the ball downfield at the end of the game). Three turnovers to none, plus a blocked punt, killed us. Good game swb.

The worst part though, is that Madison completely pulled a game out of their ass.

                  Possession to Albuquerque.

1-10-AQU20 (02:28) AQU 2 Humphrey pass completed to 85 Cady for 15 yards.
                  Tackled by MAD 41 Ferguson.
                  MAD called time out.
                  --
1-10-AQU35 (02:20) AQU 2 Humphrey pass fell incomplete, intended for 80 Halstead.
MAD 50 March defended the pass.

2-10-AQU35 (02:15) AQU 2 Humphrey pass was intercepted by MAD 93 Kohn at the MAD49.
The interception was returned 0 yards.
                  Tackled by AQU 81 Webster.

                  Possession to Madison.

1-10-MAD49 (02:06) MAD 11 Irby pass completed to 83 Ramos for 51 yards and a touchdown!
Conversion Attempt: MAD 11 Irby pass completed to 44 Perry.
Offical time out for the two-minute warning.

                  Score: Madison 34, Albuquerque 31.
You have the ball on your own 20 with 2:30 left and you pass three times?? Head coach should be fired.

To get in the playoffs we need:

                    - To win

and one of the following to lose:

                    Mad
                    Cba
                    Tex

We get a first round bye if Mad and Nwk both lose.

I'm thinking of changing my QB too. Mann is probable with a sprained thumb, and Mueller was 4-4 for 143 and 2 TD's this week. Decisions, decisions...

Mules fans were treated to their first ever player of the Week thanks to Grunt Cox in a bruising 9-6 home win. Take ever W I can without appologies. 8)

Frank Smith continues his workman like season with 8 tackles and 7 assists. Validating the Gallup, who is one heck of a MLB, trade to Oakland.

Good game Hammering Johnson. Cows scored the only TD, it was called back . The Mule front 7 gave up a lot of long runs all day long.

Tulsa was committed to the run to protect their QBs. The Mules were unable to score a TD of their own. These two factors allowed Smith to make so many plays. Tulsa's strategy was a sound one as the Cows dropped back to pass 19 times completing 4 for 36 yards. Of the 15 non completions the Mules were able to get 2 INTs, 2 Sacks, 5 hurries and 3 defended passes. The Mule front 7 is not that good. FWIW the Cows current QBs are 0-5 and have a combined passer rating of 12.82 in 2007.

Not a knock on the Cows as Taylor is on IR, just a bit of background as to how and why Cox got PotW.

I tried the ball control game today based off Cringer's success against you earlier this season. I threw more than I wanted due to your run defense shutting down my RB's, but Caro and the kicker Wolters bailed us out today.

As for our injured O-Line, it's starting to get old really quick. I now have four starting linemen out and Caro is running for his life so much that he's got knee tendinitis. Good times.

Glad I could be an inspiration to someone finally. I think my big day running the ball against Pitt was kind of a fluke, but hey no biggy to me.

As for MrBiggs, I now have to decide if I screw him over more or not. My game against Columbia has little meaning to me except for that I would notlike to be swept by the Fire even if I am sitting players.

To sit the stars or not sit the stars? That is the question.

Kennedy has been sitting, so that is probably a given since he is still probable and playing him for stats is pointless since he has no shot at 1000 yards.

Right when all my CBs are healthy for once, I lose one again for 4 weeks. Not much room to wiggle with those guys.

Hard decisions at other positions though.

Good game Jester, our defense just couldn't stop you guys all day. You guys stopped us just enough to get the win.

It's apparent that we need more playmakers on defense. I don't think our offense is that bad, but when you are towards the bottom of the league in giveaway/takeaway ratio you are going to lose more than you win.

Still, we are pretty much where I expected us to be this year. I hoped we would be better, but I expected the 7 to 9 wins range this year.
