The VooDoo defense really did a great job this week against the Seals. Limited the high flying passing of Jared Mulcahy to 17 of 40(42.5%) for 154 yards. The Seals only avg 3.8 per pass and 2.2 per run. He was harrassed all day in the pocket for 5 sacks, 6 hurries and 10 defensed balls. The VooDoo D also got him for a pick. Special teams made an impact as well with a blocked punt for a TD. The offense, although not steller, did exactly what was asked. Controlled the ball for 34 minutes and did not make the big turnover. Great game Seals and the VooDoo move on to face the BEASTS.

Oh, I'm back man just in time to lose to the Fire . I was cool with it at first but to go back and read those stats and plays----man it makes you wonder what this team could do IF it could close out games in the fourth quarter

But yeah my music PC is back online and I've actually had a significant performance boost due to loading the 'correct' nvidia system drivers and keeping my box ACPI enabled (a suggested 'no-no' for DAW computers).

My Ravens (rNFL) start their quest for a successful year tomorrow and my Stallions (featuring the fumbling superback) will be back after a solid off-season

St. Louis has won the same way I have been doing it all year. This time they were getting the breaks with field position which I was not getting. Everything else in the stats were pretty much even, the only difference was starting field position.

I have two hopes for the next year:

1) Scott Nelson comes back with no loss in ability.

OR

2) I get a QB that can throw a medium range pass.

As much as I like Harry Moss, he is VERY much a system QB. He played well, but it really stifled my offense without being able to throw anything over about 10 yards downfield with any degree of success. On the other hand, I do not know how much of this is due to not having a standout WR either.

The other thing I would LOVE to pick up is a better runner. Schwab is a good back, but he is not a grinder, he is a finesse runner. I think he would be best suited to running draws on 3rd down.

I think I have nailed down my problem with my Run-D, now I just need to get the offense to be a little more explosive and I think I can compete for the title.
