Oooooh a pixelated helmet to get us all wondering what the new logo is!

Can someone edit Vito's post so it stops f'ing with the formatting?
      edited as requested.

and I say the logo on that helmet is a snake/cobra head, or a green heart.

maybe a lump of krypton, to counter HA's superhero

Vito I am sorry for your loss. Those losses like that are totally crushing, however, . . . . that was one of the best posts EVER!!!!!

Oh, with another 100 yards in penalties today, i'm not proud to say I easily lead the league in penalty yardage this season by 113 yards over Murf who is 2nd, and nearly double the yards as the least penalized team.

This is the second season in a row i'm getting so many penalties, I don't understand why.

NC Playoffs - if the season ended today

              1. Little Rock
              2. Pittsburgh
              3. Newark
              4. Oakland
              5. Columbia
              6. Texas

              Texas at Newark
              Columbia at Oakland

              NC North

Pittsburgh needs any combination of 2 wins or Madison losses to win division outright. Pitt wins all tiebreakers with Madison due to better div record.

              NC South

Little Rock needs any combination of 1 win or Columbia loss to win division outright. Texas is eliminated from division race due to worse conf record. If LRK loses both and CBA wins both, CBA wins division due to h2h sweep. CBA wins 3 way tie due to sweep of both Tex and LRK.

              NC East

Vermont is eliminated from division race (Nwk or Orl must win/tie, and Ver loses tiebreakers with both/all). Other scenarios (I didn't factor in ties):

              - Law wins both, Nwk wins both: Nwk wins on common games
              - Law wins both, Orl wins both: Orl wins on common games
              - Law loses 16 wins 17 (vice versa same result), Nwk loses 16 wins 17, Orl wins 16 loses 17: Nwk wins (Orl eliminated on h2h, Law elim on common games)
              - Law loses 16 wins 17 (vice versa same result), Nwk wins 16 loses 17, Orl loses 16 wins 17: Orl wins (Nwk elim on div record, Law elim on common games)
              - Law loses 16 wins 17 (vice versa same result), Nwk loses 16 wins 17, Orl loses both: Nwk wins (Law elim on common games)
              - Law loses 16 wins 17 (vice versa same result), Nwk loses both, Orl loses 16 wins 17: Orl wins (Law elim on common games)
              - Law loses both, Nwk loses 16 wins 17, Orl wins 16 loses 17: Nwk wins (h2h sweep)
              - Law loses both, Nwk wins 16 loses 17, Orl loses 16 wins 17: Orl wins (better div record)

              Basically Law loses all tiebreakers.

              NC West

              - Oak wins both, Van wins both: Oak (h2h sweep)
              - Van wins both, Ren wins both: Van (h2h sweep)
              - Oak wins 16 loses 17, Van loses both, Ren loses 16 wins 17: Ren (h2h sweep)
              - Oak wins 16 loses 17, Van only wins one, Ren loses 16 wins 17: Ren (div record)
              - Oak loses 16 wins 17, Van wins 16 loses 17, Ren loses both: Oak (h2h sweep)
              - Oak loses 16 wins 17, Van loses 16 wins 17, Ren loses both: Oak (h2h sweep)
              - Oak loses 16 wins 17, Van loses both, Ren wins 16 loses 17: Oak (div record)
              - Oak loses 16 wins 17, Van wins one, Ren wins 16 loses 17: Oak (h2h)

There are 32 possible outcomes (243 if you include ties!), I think those are all the possibilities of a tie for the last two divisions.
Los Angeles Matadors AC West Champs: 2037

I thought this was an interesting question, and did some research. It appears that penalties are much more dependant on the age of your team than they are on the discipline rating of your head coach.

EDIT: Although I should add that there isn't a very big correlation for either, R squared value of .0007 and a slope of .0365 for discipline rating compared to .0584 and .2464 for age.

It looks like we're in the drivers seat in the NFC East i.e. we atleast control our own destiny.

Yea it could be age. My offensive line is pretty young with a rookie and 2nd year guy on it. 2nd year FB, 3rd year WR, and rookie WR as other starters. Maybe it's not that much a coincidence a bulk of my penalties are false starts / offensive holding. I do get a bunch of defensive calls too, but it doesn't seem like as much as offense.

I'm still a bit surprised at how well the team did without Jones at center.. he sure must have sucked, cause as soon as I replaced him Virge suddenly started getting the passes through again.

A quick question though Matt, did you see the situation early in the game.. I was up 7-3, 4th and 2 in the red zone and we FAKE a fieldgoal? I don't recall doing anything to encourage such stupid behaviour.

Saw that. I was a bit surprised. We just couldn't get any pressure on Virgil. He would scramble for 7-8 yards, or just throw the ball to his TE. Virgil lit us up. Must have been a nice game to watch on your end!!!

We started the game on fire with Crespo ripping off some nice runs. Then the OC just kept running where there were no holes. I know I run a lot, but I don't think I gameplanned to run as often as I did.
