How Do I start a new league?

goddamit, how do i do this shit again? been a while. where do i download which files to? which files get exported. :evil:

Here, grab my hand. (I took this from the GEFL board)

1. Verify that you have latest patch installed. (5.1d)
2. Download the city/nickname files from the Files page
3. Unzip it to your universe folder in the FOF2k4 folder
4. Download the logo files from the Files page
5. Unzip it to your pictures folder in the FOF2k4 folder
6. Open up FOF2k4
7. Click on the MP Window
8. Under Participant Functions, click Enter New Career
9. For the League ID number, enter 'IHOF0001' (or whatever your league ID is)
10. Choose the team assigned to you by the league
11. Click Begin without draft
12. Delete the file the "Q" file it tells you to send to your commish
13. Download the latest league file
14. Unzip it to your leagues folder in the FOF2k4 folder
15. Load FOF2k4
16. Open the MP Window
17. Click Load Game
18. Select "IHOF0001" (or whatever your league ID is)
19. Enjoy!

and btw, i don't know why the Heroes haven't performed that well - personnel-wise i see a LOT of solid, if not real good, players on the roster. there's a lot of good guys on this team.

Game days are Sunday morning around 11am EST or so. Roughly around that time.

Your team does have a lot of talent, but there is a lot of talent around the league, and a lot of close games. I have the worst team in league history (based on W/L record), but i've lost a ton of close games. I'm 15 points away from being an 8-4 team this season opposed to 4-8.

To go back further over the last 3 seasons, i'm 56 points away (8 TDs over 15 games) from having these records...

Not sure if it's like that in other leagues, but this one has a ton of nail biters, and i'm usually on the short end of them. I'm sure many others have similar situations.

Btw, why do I have a diarrhea colored dot next to my team in the standings? I'm not eliminated yet, am I? I can still finish 8-8 and you can finish 6-10. Of course that won't happen, but it could. I know my team is playing crappy, but shouldn't they wait to give me the crap dot?

don't give me this bs. the Bills are a FG away from having a Super Bowl championship. you only need to score one more point than the other team to win a game, if you can't do that then your team wasn't as good as your opposition. i'm sure you know the saying about close only counts in horseshoes and hand grenades.

I was explaining to you why your team may appear good on paper but not have a good W-L record in this league. It's a tough league with a ton of good teams. Every time I think I have a good team, I just take a look at some of the rosters around the league and remember why my team sucks.

A big part of the reason Fresno is sitting bad right now is because RedKing blew it with the team. I don't think they won a game under him. Maybe his first game.....
