I suck. Congrats on the division again, Suicane. My defense has no chance against the teams i'm going to be playing, and it just got worse by losing my 3rd star player for probably his career in 3 seasons.

The entire lansing defense mis-read the schedule, mistaking week 12 as a bye week and failed to show up to the game. How else could we explain such a porous effort? I'm disgusted.

I wouldn't be THAT hard on your team. You did play Columbia, who is pretty good.

With that said, Iowa City, Little Rock, and Texas still on your schedule is pretty damn rough. Look at it this way: Iowa City has two straight losses though. My team blows it when it shouldn't sometimes, and Texas still is questionable to me a little.

Good game kingfc. Sante made his return to Boston, and he played very well. We pull this one out in OT. Crespo was shut down in the 2nd half and our kicker continues to miss FG's. Atleast he hit the game winner. It looks like LAW lost a heartbreaker against Norfolk, while all the other NFC east teams won.
I lost DE Casey Fowler to another serious injury.

            Mules versus Toads.

Talk about a story of field position. Toads got it, Mules never had it and that is what got me the win I think.

When I can pin a team down on their 3 yard line, and then they only manage a 30 yard punt so I get the ball on their 33, thats almost a sure fire score in the end.

Otherwise, the Mule D wasn't too bad Kobeck, they played well. Kept Dixon in check, and he has been hot lately.

Yea, Columbia's a good team, I just don't understand my defense this year though. I wonder if losing the DC really played a huge role because I did nothing but upgrade my defense this off-season. I can understand my offense sucking after losing my QB, but I had a good D then added a great DT and solid 3rd CB.

Oh well, i'm more bothered that Watson is probably gone for his career now once he returns and his ratings take a nose dive. At least his cap hit won't be as painful as the last two.

Maybe it's my gameplanning. My biggest problem this year is stopping the offense on 3rd down. I just can't do it. Columbia was 10 for 11 on 3rd down, that's just crazy. I think the only reason i'm not first in that category is because often times i'm playing from behind, so teams start running on me more and i'm able to stop them later in games. I'd hate to see my opponents 3rd down % in the first half of games this season because that's usually when they march up the field at will.

Anyway, yea the schedule isnt' in my favor at all. There is a strong chance with me playing IWC, and the Cards playing WVA, i'll be 2 back.

Who knows though, maybe i'll get lucky in one of my next two games, claw back and we'll fight for the division in the final game of the season. That would be fun to watch.

Lawrence - what can I say but that it was one hell of a game to watch. Football excitement at its best.

The Stanfield-Romano connection was simply awesome.

But at the end, Lozier was once again the "magic man". Finger simply "owns" last minute drives.

Sorry about Baumgartner ... will be a tough slot to replace.

Good luck on the remainder of your season ... you still have a tough road to hoe in that divsion of yours.

Good game Vermont. I have to say that I was thrilled with our offensive performance, but our defense played like absolute crap. Part of that is due to the talent Vermont has, which I was never able to put a finger on what I needed to stop. We wound up getting beat in all aspects of the game on that side of the ball.

Offensively, Hickman looked great, no big mistakes, a couple of deep strikes, that is all I ask of him. Still disappointing to waste 24 points on the defense this game.

I agree completly. The first Toad TD was exactly as you described. A couple of punt exchanges and it was first down Toads at the Mule 30.

rookie HC pulled another one IMHO, punting from the 32 while down by 7. Just like last time it was a TB so the punt only netted 12 yards.

Couldn't believe Given got game MVP, then read stat sheet. Very effecient game by Given

Good game. Hoping Mules still in the season when 3 game home stand to end the season begins. Will see. Not likely though.

Not to bring down your offensive performance, but my defense was absolute shite.. ever since Olivarez went down it's as if they've just broken down, no one to coordinate them.. we're allowing way too many yards along the ground and the secondary isn't picking up the slack in the air.

Gah.. I'm just disappointed.. I was certain we'd make the playoffs this year but this sure doesn't look good. Oakland next week, but I'm sure the entire NFC East will win next week.. :P

We got out quick to a 24-0 lead and sat on it, relying on our defense to keep the Matadors in check, and it worked out. We've been winning games where we played poorly, it's about time we had a good game and lucky for us it came against a top notch opponent.

With a five game winning streak, Pittsburgh now leads the division and plays Little Rock for the #1 seed next week. Out dline needs to feast on the backups and rookies in the Toad oline to win.

Mann leads the league in completion percentage, and T Nolan MacClelland leads the league in krb%.

                          Tough ending to the game:
2-08-AQU20 (02:00) PIT 23 Rodrigez ran around left end for 6 yards.
Tackled by AQU 30 Runnels, assisted by AQU 57 Fricke.
PIT 41 Hepburn was injured on the play.
This appears to be a serious injury

3-02-AQU14 (01:16) PIT 23 Rodrigez ran inside the right tackle for 2 yards.
                          Tackled by AQU 57 Fricke.
Key block delivered by PIT 50 Vigil.
PIT 79 Weil was injured on the play.
This appears to be a serious injury

                          --
1-10-AQU12 (00:30) PIT 16 Mann dropped to one knee for -1 yards.
78 weeks of injuries on the last two plays of the game, running out the clock. That's the Pittsburgh turf for you.

Are you saying Morris Weinberg getting his first ever start at Center does not scare you DT's? I was sure he would.

Venegas now out, combined with Sheffield still sitting on the sideline for a couple of weeks has to end up being a very bad thing for my team. Venegas hurts, he won't be back until playoff time.

Given and Dixon banged up a little too.

Atleast my defense is fairly healthy.
