  • Conservative vs. Aggressive D

Does anyone know what these settings do exactly?

I would assume that an aggressive run D means that you are trying to hit gaps, etc. An aggressive pass D means you are sending more people towards the QB, etc.

However, does this mean that a more finesse running game will gain more yards against an aggressive run D? Does anyone know?

I would ask this on the FOF forums, but with those down, thought I would throw it out here.

It's my understanding the more aggressive D you play the better opportunity you have for sacks, fumbles, interceptions and plays for a loss. However, the downside to that is you are more likely to give up the big one.

Pssst.. hit F1 on whatever gameplan screens you need help with. The answers to all three of your questions should be found there.

As it says in the help section of the game, the Aggressive defensive settings have to do with how your team reacts to plays.

If you want more aggressiveness on expected running plays, then your team will play for the run from the snap of the ball. Or for passing, they will play for the pas right away.

This is instead of maybe sitting back a split second to see what the play may be.
