The Pittsburgh turf claims two more victims, including all-pro DT Edmund Peacock, out for the season with a torn rotator cuff.

Big win for the Power though. Special teams got us ahead by ten at the half, and we were able to run the clock out in the second half.

Fun fact: of our first 9 opponents this season, only 1 currently has a losing record.

Is it too early for teams to get their bids in on Olin Holst?
Mac Breland with a 40 week injury too? Poor guy, I always liked him.

At least you have the draft to look forward to...

You need to get your fire back. You're only a game and a half behind Houston! And your next 4 games include three against teams with losing records. Tell the rookie QB to man-up.

Breland suffered another big injury? Man, talk about a guy that was screwed over by injury. He could have been one of the greats.

And we do just enough to find a way to lose, again. I wanted to keep the game close until late and I was able to do that, but we just can't seem to make the key play when needed. And if we do, it gets called back.

2-10-BOS27 (07:40) BOS 19 Burdette pass completed to 80 Sullivan for 31 yards.
                  Tackled by NFK 24 Schrader.
Penalty: BOS - Illegal Use of the Hands.

Fortune has not made the most of his chances that is for sure, but there is competition for carries in Mendez and OP has had to toss the rock 40+ times in a couple of games that got out of hand.

FWIW he had a solid game today with 70+ all purpose yards and a crucial 16 yard carry late in the GREATEST MULE WIN EVER

Mules are now 1 and 8 all time against the VooDoo - go Mules!

Hariston had a bad day along with the Louisiana Kicker - missed two inside 40 yards in a tight game. Later in the game the VooDoo converted a 4th and 2 from the 34 or so only to have Hariston be picked a couple of plays later. But I will take the win anyways.
Same old story for the VooDoo. NO offensive production as the turnovers keep piling up. Congrats to Kobeck. Good game plan and you avoided big mistakes. Your back in the thick of things with Houston. I have some major game planning changes I will be making for the next game.

Damn ... there were a lot of penalities this game. You had 6 and I almost double that with 11.

Another observation. After playing you for the second time this season, I think that the Dragons are a much better team without Sante. I think that things will start shifting to a better side for you.

                      By the way, good game.

Thanks. Since I traded away Sante the entire team seems to be playing better. The defense has really stepped up their game. On offense, Burdette is playing very solid and this was the first game he threw an INT. Losing by 7 in Norfolk should be a good indicator that we are turning this ship around.

Also, Webb is starting to play like the #2 overall pick in the draft.

good game fresno. The switch back to 3-4 had to be made. I was real close to moving Olson to MLB. Still might do that...
